DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota

I had been driving a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid. In February of this year we purchased a 2007 Hyundai Elantra for my wife from Robert Schaeffer at DCH. We hadn't had anything specific. At that time he found us a great second vehicle which suits my wife perfectly. I had become increasingly worried with the value of my Civic as I had racked up approximately 105,000 miles over the last 4 years due to frequent travel to NYC and Long Island. I had decided on a whim on a Saturday to stop in at DCH and see what I could recieve for a trade in and what they had in both new and used vehicles. Mr. Schaeffer remembered my wife and I as soon as he saw us. He remembered about different things we had talked about during the purchase of my wife's vehicle. He also remembered her vehicle as well as mine asking if we were ok with both vehicles. We explained to him what we were looking for. He immediately had someone start looking at my vehicle for a trade in value. We hadn't expected to actually purchase a car that day. He ran our credit to see what we would be able to afford before showing us any cars. I appreciated this because he didn't get our hopes up without knowing whether we would be able to afford anything. Once the information came back Mr. Shaeffer realized he had the perfect vehicle for us. It was a 2012 Toyota Prius. It happened to be a demo. It was pretty much fully loaded with all the gadgets and toys Toyota has. However, since it was used as a demo we were able to purchase it at a tremendous discount. It only had about 3,000 miles on it but was sold to us as a new car. This meant that we got all the warranties and roadside assistance and such that Toyota is great for. As soon as my wife daughter and I sat in the vehicle we fell in love with it. Robert and the DCH Finance Team were also able to get our payments significantly below what we had expected to pay. Mr. Shaeffer has also been great after the purchase. He knows we are planning a road trip to Florida. He scheduled service for when we get back to make sure everything is still in good shape with the Prius. I have also emailed him several times with questions about the car and some of it's gadgets. He quickly responded with very informative emails. While waiting in the dealership for paperwork, bank info etc. Mr Shaeffer continued giving us undivided attention explaining what was going on, providing insight into the car dealership/finance iindustry and good conversation. He is by far the best salesperson at dealership that I have dealt with over the years and through the purchase of multiple vehicles through different dealers. More

I came to Dch after visiting Prestige in Kingston where I purchased my original Avalon 14yrs ago. Prestige was horrible to deal with..Didnt have the cars to test drive(I wanted to try an Alera,they had none) purchased my original Avalon 14yrs ago. Very friendly environment. I had a wonderful experience. I had a general idea of what I was looking for. As soon as I arrived on the lot, Robert greeted me and my husband. We took a test drive and once we went inside to discuss a price, the magic happened. He came right in line with what I was expecting and gave me a reasonable price for my old vehicle. I came in with a set idea on financing and DCH Toyota was not only able to get me a better financing deal; but, they were also able to get me a shorter term. Once I picked up the vehicle, everything was done. They offered me a few extras on the complete package which turned out to be very valuable. Overall, I would say that DCH Toyota in Wappingers Falls is fantastic. If you are looking for a vehicle and want to be treated with respect and not pushed around, this is really the place for you. From my first visit, to my second and third time to get a coating put on the car, everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant. Very nice dealership. Toyota should be proud DCH Toyota exists. Unable to get to the dealership, arrangements were made and I was picked up to boot--35 minutes away. You cannot go wrong buying from Toyota Wappingers Falls. It true: no hassle, no double talk. Oh, and the finance guy, Robert Goldberg,is straight from the hip. Yes, he offered the extras (but Consumers Report say you don't really need this)...he tries to get you to buy (it is part of his job after all) but a firm "no,thank you" should do it.
