It was a great experience from the first phone call to driving the car home. Really. Before stepping into Tustin Acura I was getting seriously worn down by the car shopping experience. After a month of research, internet quotes, and visiting dealerships I was fed up with the process/mind games and nearly decided to put car buying on hold so I could catch my breath. I decided to give it one more shot (since it was the last day of the month) when a car caught my attention on the Tustin Acura website. However, I was dreading the idea of stepping foot into another dealership. After a bit of anxiety I called up a friend for support and asked him to visit one more dealer with me. He reluctantly agreed. We had no idea we would both be all-smiles in the end. It went great. Abe Ahari was my contact and was friendly and easy to communicate with from beginning to end. He was not pushy at all and answered all of my questions patiently and amicably. He employed no sales tactics and I actually felt comfortable and at ease in a car dealership...definitely something I wasn't used to. After a comprehensive test drive, Abe thoroughly addressed all of my concerns before we sat down to talk about price. Once again...Easy. The price was already good (had done plenty of research online through edmunds, kbb, ebay, craigslist, nada, etc.), but it was still more than I could afford. With minimal discussion we got it down to something that sat well with both parties. I almost couldn't believe it. It only took a few minutes and I was actually still smiling. Steve Hahn in the finance department was equally as great and comfortable to work with. He informed me of all the possibilities but didn't try to hard sell me anything at anytime. He explained the details of the purchase patiently and thoroughly with an air of ease and friendliness. We even swapped dog stories at one point. It was like talking with a friend...a definite pleasure. In the end, I got a great price on a certified pre-owned RDX and was out the door in relatively little time. The friend who accompanied me was impressed with the experience as well. I have to really thank Abe and Steve for ending my car buying journey on a high note. I would have never believed it could be so easy had I not experienced it for myself. The dealership was well-organized and clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I never felt like I was dealing with salesmen...just working with good customer service. Thank you for making it all worth it! More
I have been a Tustin Acura customer since 1988 and I'm on my 2nd Acura from them, a 1999 RL ... Even though Tustin Acura is not the closest Acura dealer to where I live, I continue to bring my car to Tustin my 2nd Acura from them, a 1999 RL ... Even though Tustin Acura is not the closest Acura dealer to where I live, I continue to bring my car to Tustin Acura for servicing because of the outstanding service provided to me ... Especially by Freddie Caraballo ... He always gives me excellent service, explains things clearly to me and delivers what he promises (bith regarding time and cost) ... Quite frankly, he is the main reason why I continue to bring my car to Tustin Acura ... I totally trust him More
I have entrusted this dealership with each Acura (1998 Integra and my CL 3.0) I have owned. My Service representative (Freddy) has earned my trust by ALWAYS being upfront and honest with me on each and ev Integra and my CL 3.0) I have owned. My Service representative (Freddy) has earned my trust by ALWAYS being upfront and honest with me on each and every service/repair I have had done. No dealership has ever earned my trust, nor will any dealership likely have the opportunity as I will be an Acura owner for life due to the quality of the product itself, and the service and honesty provided by my dealership (DCH Tustin Acura). Times are tough, and money is tight. I have confidence as I have for over 7 years of working with Freddy that whatever service or maintenance that is required IS REQUIRED. If I can't afford a repair or maintenance at a particular time, Freddy will let me know if it is ABSOLULITY necessary, or if I can get by for an additional thousand miles until I can afford it. I can recall my first experience with Freddy which I happened to mention to him coincidently upon completion of my service today. I had purchased a replacement bulb for my Integra and thought I would save money by installing it myself. After an hour of trying, I drove to the dealership which I purchased the bulb (Tustin Acura) and asked how to install the bulb. Freddy happened to be on duty that day, and without hesitation said "pop your hood, I'll replace it for you right now". THAT is the reason I began having my Integra regular service and maintenance at my then hometown dealership. I have moved to several areas where other Acura dealerships are closer and more readily available. However, I am loyal to quality and customer service, and from my first encounter with the Service department and my Service Rep, that has built a long lasting devotion which continues to this day. People hear how old my car is, and that I have it serviced with my dealership. They tell me they have "a guy" that they go to and say I should check it out to save money cause dealerships are a rip-off... I have gone that route too many times with prior vehicles (non Acura's) and found I ended up paying more for repairs on the repair itself. With this dealership, I don't have to worry as they back what they say and guarantee their work. One last example: I purchased a new battery late in 2008 from my dealership. For whatever reason, within one year that battery died. I took it back to the dealership thinking it was a starter or alternator. They checked it and found it was a defective battery. Replaced it and I was on my way no charge and with an apology for the inconvenience. Had I gotten that battery elsewhere, I may have been out of luck or waiting for this, that, and the other to be checked before my battery would have been replaced. These are just a few experiences I have had with this dealership, and I will have many more in the future... Count on it! Thank you DCH Tustin Acura, Chris Rodriguez More

Her 2008 TSX is a great car for her. Never had a problem until last week when she complained that the tire pressure monitor was on. I took it in too Cerritos Acura and the service adviser looked at the car and told me it that the tire pressure monitor light was probably a faulty sensor because the tire looked ok to her. The service advisor at Cerritos told me she was really busy and that I should schedule an appointment for next week an just come back or leave my car there for 5 hours that day. When I asked how I would get home, she told me that they could shuttle me 5 miles, but I live in Fullerton which is closer to the 8-10 miles away and she told me it would be too far to shuttle. I was very unhappy but I decided it could not be helped and I left. This was last week. This morning when I woke up I went for a morning walk and noticed that my wife’s car on the driver’s side rear looked a little low. I decided that I would contact DHC in Tustin because your dealership was actually a little closer to where I was heading for today. I stopped in and was fortunate enough to run into a Service Consultant Kyle Herron. He sent the car to up to get looked at and told me that it was not the tire pressure monitor sensor and in fact it was the tire which had a nail in the side wall. He also informed me he could get me shuttled 10 miles and if needed a little further and even offered a pick up. That was quite impressive. My wife makes all the financial decisions in our household and I could not get a hold of her this morning so I had to leave due to a meeting that I needed to attend. He had my car brought back to me and was kind of enough to have my wife’s 2010 registration sticker put on for me. He also had the tire pressure up back to normal and offered me a quote of $227 for a new rear tire. I told him that I would have to speak with my wife about this before I could make a decision. His words, “not a problem, give me a call when your are ready.” I was more than satisfied. The most impressive part, he offered to have my car washed before returning it to me. Now if that isn’t impressive and great quality worthy service then I don’t know what is. I didn’t even purchase the car at DCH Acura, but he had taken the time to pull off the license plate frame to have new stickers put on, have the tire pressure back to normal and offered a car wash. Incredible!! While waiting for my wife’s car I happened to stumble in to the showroom and ran into Tom Pitchford who was more than eager to help. Not only did he provide excellent customer service, I didn’t even feel pressured. I even let him know beforehand that my wife’s lease isn’t up for a couple of months. He still offered his help as if I was purchasing a car today all the way to the end. I felt guilty for taking up his time because he could have been helping another customer. I have worked in the automotive industry for many years and currently work in automotive finance. I have bought and leased many cars but never I had experienced such great service from a car dealership. Never had I received such excellent service while visiting a service department especially from a dealership where I didn’t even purchase the car from. I regret that I will not be replacing the tire with DCH Acura due to my wife wanting to take it to where she regularly services her vehicle. But I will tell you this. Our next vehicle purchased in 2010 when her lease is up will be an Acura and it will be from DCH Acura in Tustin. It will also be serviced there regularly. Today you might not have received my business for a rear tire, but you have earned yourself future business from one happy Acura owner. Your incredible staff has also given me reason to believe that the dealership experience can exceed the services of a non-dealership repair/service facility. I look forward to working with Tom Pitchford in the early months of 2010 and with Kyle Herron in the future there after. With today’s economy and changing times, I am happy to see there is a dealership out there such as DCH Acura that offers excellent customer service. There are a lot of companies who are forgetting that the dealership experience in service is just as important as the service when first purchasing a car. I think a lot of car dealerships are forgetful of this and definitely DCH in Tustin raised the bar a little more today. And beyond feeling like a customer today, I felt more like a guest at Acura rather than just a customer. I think all the other dealerships should follow in the great example set forth by your dealership today. More
I have been going to Tustin Acura for 6 years now, and I can confidently say this is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. Over the last 6 years, I’ve had Freddy at Tustin Acura taking care of servi can confidently say this is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. Over the last 6 years, I’ve had Freddy at Tustin Acura taking care of service on my three different Acura vehicles (a 2001 TL, a 2004 TL, and a 2006 RL), and I have only had positive experiences. While most of my experience with this dealership has been with the service department, I did by a certified pre-owned 2001 Acura TL from Tustin Acura, and their sales department was also good. I can honestly say I give this dealership a 5/5 across the board. Here’s why: - Service Adviser: Freddy is great – he’s always on schedule with what he quoted me, and always at the quoted cost. Everyone in the service department seems to know there stuff, but due to my experiences with Freddy, I would highly recommend you ask for him by name. - Waiting Area: Sometimes when I get service done it’s easiest to just wait while they do it. The waiting area is spacious, and conducive to getting work done (free WiFi, available tables, etc). They also have a good sized TV to watch in case you are not nerdy like me and carrying a laptop with you at all times. - Pricing: when I got my 1st Acura, I called independent mechanics to see what their rates were. The two I talked to about scheduled maintenance charged more than the dealer (I was shocked that a dealer would be the cheap option – go figure). - Honesty: I feel like the norm for most service departments is to try to up-sell you on things you don’t need. I’ve never had this happen at Tustin Acura. For quality Acura service, this is the place to go. Freddy and his manager Eric are really good. -Kris More
I am writing this review to commend Service Manager Eric LiFoSjoe on a job well done. I have dealt with Eric for over 2 years now and every time I visit the dealership I get nothing but excellent service fr LiFoSjoe on a job well done. I have dealt with Eric for over 2 years now and every time I visit the dealership I get nothing but excellent service from him. Eric is extremely professional and goes out the extra mile to ensure that any concerns I have about my Acura are resolved to my satisfaction. The best thing about this guy is that he answers his own phone every time you call. Now where else can you get a live Service Manager rather than a voice message? I definitely would recommend this dealership anytime. RM More
This is my second car purchased from Alex Chung. He is the reason why I bought both of my TL's there. I am loving my 2009 TL. I honestly had to search around just to keep the dealerships honest. My experience at Tustin Acura was like nothing I've had before. They were extremely patient with my inability to choose between the RDX and MDX. I really appreciate how they gave me room to experience and decide on the vehicle of my choice. They were close enough to help when I needed them, but never hovered over me, or made me feel uncomfortable. The financing was simple and met my expectations, with no pressure to buy any add-on accessories or warranties. At time of delivery, they explained everything about my new car and answered all my questions. They even helped me set up all the "personal settings". I will highly recommend this dealership to anyone needing a new car. I think they would have even ordered me pizza had I asked! More
