Kendly Smith the used car saleman is the sales person I dealt with from the begining, but once the sales manager got involve (Ronny G) he kind of ruined the whole process. He should be selling TV's , Furni dealt with from the begining, but once the sales manager got involve (Ronny G) he kind of ruined the whole process. Today is Monday Dec 3rd 2007 and I just drove off the DCH Paramus parking lot driving my new Honda Accord EX Sedan 2008. I would like to express my gratitude to Ihab Khalil my sales consultant. Not only that but he is also extremely knowledgeable about the cars he sells in addition to being a true gentleman. His service was exemplarily and I have no hesitation in sending referrals in the future to him as I know they will be given the same care and consideration that I was given. Ihab goes above and beyond his job duties and I cannot express how grateful I was to have met him and dealt with him in the purchase of my new car. His demeanor and personality is definitely an asset to him and I hope that management realizes how unbelievably grateful they should be to have such an extraordinary individual as part of their sales team and work force. Well I went to this dealer about a year ago to get a quote on a Accord coupe and was given an outrageous price. I wasn't really planning on getting a car than though, I only wanted a test drive. I was told to call back the next day to make sure the car I wanted to drive was there. I left a message with the sales person but never got a call back. Fast-forward to a couple of days ago... I leased an 08 Accord Coupe and if it wasn't for all the reading I did on leasing and car dealership tricks I wouldve been totally raped. The salesman gave me a reasonable price for the car but an outrageous lease rate. I told him about the qoute I got on another vehicle of the same price which was almost $200 cheaper a month. He basically matched it which left me wondering why he didn't just quote me that price to begin with. Anyway when I finally sat down with another man to sign the papers, I found that all of the numbers we agreed on were wrong. We went over the numbers about 4 times because I kept finding "mistakes!!" After almost 6 hours I finally got my car and was able to go home, but it doesn't end. I called over and over again trying to make an appointment to get some parts installed that were included in my car deal... this took almost 3 days. I kept getting directed to different people, my salesman wouldn't return my phone calls, numbers wouldn't work. All in all it was a pretty painful experience but is any dealer really that different? I honestly don't think so. Well in closing... PEOPLE PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELVES BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING!!! THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD CAR BUYING/LEASING ADVICE WEBSITES. JUST GOOGLE IT.
