Although the source of the information I am going to cite has either long since been forgotten, or perhaps, has never been known at all, I can recall once having heard that a customer, after having received has either long since been forgotten, or perhaps, has never been known at all, I can recall once having heard that a customer, after having received poor service from a sales or customer service representative, statistically speaking, is likely to share, or rather, “vent” his dilemma with as many as twenty-five people, as opposed to the satisfied customer, who, perhaps, may inform only one individual of a particular sales or customer service representative’s high caliber of service. Based on the lackluster, nonchalant service performed by the majority of sales and customer service representatives with whom I deal and have dealt for almost as long as I can remember, it appears as though mediocrity has become the acknowledged commonplace industry standard with which, unfortunately, I have had to acclimate myself. However, it is not often that one has the fortuitous opportunity to deal with consummate professionals such as Mr. Steve Chan, of Paramus Honda, in Paramus, New Jersey. Concerned, caring, patient and extremely product knowledgeable are the first thoughts that come to mind when I think of the professional and congenial manner in which Mr. Chan has always dealt with my family and me over the years on the numerous occasions that we have leased automobiles from him. He has always rendered straightforward and proper advice, never trying to sell us vehicles that would not properly suit us. In fact, my favorable dealings with Mr. Chan have left me with such an overall positive impression of Paramus Honda, that aside from the wonderful quality I have come to recognize and expect from Honda’s products, he is one of the primary reasons why I would not only opt to purchase a Honda in preference to other automotive manufacturers’ products, but, specifically from Paramus Honda. I would like to formally commend Mr. Chan for the efforts he has expended on my behalf to ensure my total satisfaction as a Honda customer. The high quality of service that he has provided is the benchmark by which all other sales representatives should be judged. In summation, Honda’s superlative products, in conjunction with Mr. Chan’s exceptional customer service has created a Paramus Honda customer for life. In addition to my having dealt with Mr. Chan, I would also like to praise General Sales Manager Mike Porreca, Sales Director Bobby Kibbler, and Sales Manager Billy Lister for their invaluable assistance as well as for their always making me feel as though I were truly valued customer at Paramus Honda. First, I must say that I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of sales consultant Mr. Patel. He is very sincere in assisting me in choosing the vehicle. He answers all my questions effectively and concisely prior to my purchase. He is efficient in processing my paperwork. He has tremendous technical knowledge with the vehicle as well as other aspects of the purchase, including, but not limited to, insurance information, price, and financial options. I have a very good impression of him from the beginning that he is experienced, approachable, and most of all sincere. I am also extremely impressed with the financial officer Mr. Thomas, who explains to me all the details and options about financing a vehicle, including servicing options and payment plans. He treats us like family members. He understands what I need and recommends accordingly. The overall experience my wife and I have with Paramus Honda is nothing less than the very best. After visiting other dealerships, I can conclude that I will definitely return to Paramus Honda for my next purchase. Having a reliable brand is obviously important, but that this dealership really excels is its positive attitude toward the customer. I value this quality particularly, and it is the reason why I choose Honda over other brands, and why I ultimately buy from Paramus. I was buying Honda CR-V in DCH Paramus Honda dealership and contacted Gareth Crosdale manager - he is the best I ever seen! Just imagine, I called him at 3PM, came at 5PM and drove out on new Honda at 7PM! and contacted Gareth Crosdale manager - he is the best I ever seen! Just imagine, I called him at 3PM, came at 5PM and drove out on new Honda at 7PM! Actually 20 minutes of that 2 hours I spent on test drive and 40 minutes on car washing and coffee drinking. But the most remarkable was the car price - none of other dealerships could provide even something close to the one Gareth gave me!!! More

I bought a used 2006 Civic Ex about two months a go. This gentleman Jesus Valentin was there all the time to help me with little things that you come accross when you buy a car. I was giving an extremely good price on my Honda Civic LX. Gareth and I had emailing for the better part of a week trying to nail down the price. At no time did i feel pressured into anything. After I crashed my 2005 Honda Element (which was my 2nd new Honda purchased in the last 6 years) and was in the search for a new car, and DCH Paramus Honda was the second Honda Dealer my husband and I visi new Honda purchased in the last 6 years) and was in the search for a new car, and DCH Paramus Honda was the second Honda Dealer my husband and I visited. Wow what a difference... The first one, showed us some cars, and was OK, but when we left the first night, they practically asked for our life history, for their computer, seemed very invasive... Feeling uncomfortable, I gave my wrong telephone number, but a valid email address, and received a bothersome email everyday, pestering us to purchase there, from that salesman... Needless to say, we never received any of that "harassment" from Jesus. He was always listening, we test drove a few cars, then worked with his finance department closely to get us the deal we have been looking for... I am heading back to work now, with a new car, and I cannot wait to let people know who I bought my New 2009 Honda CR-V from... Just wanted to thank Jesus and DCH Paramus foe my great new ride...... This was an Internet purchase. Why anyone would want to go from dealer to dealer in person and waste a lot of time is something I do not understand. The Internet is so much faster and a lot easier to negotiate. I worked with 15 dealers in a 200 mile radius of NJ to find the best deal. Sending e-mails and getting the best price from each dealer was very easy and saved a lot of time. Now for my experience with Paramus Honda. Myron Grant was a pleasure to deal with. One of the few salesmen that stood by what he said. A straight shooter, no bull or bait and switch stuff. I had several salesmen from other dealers tell me "No Way Can They Sell You The Civic For That Price". Well they did! AND they were able to beat my best deal on finance for the car. I had 4.75% for 3 years and they offered me 1.9% for the same time. So not only did I get a great deal on the car and a fantastic experience BUT I also got a fantastic deal on the loan! Myron was off on the day we picked up the car. Too bad I would have actually liked to meet him. He was such a great person to deal with, perhaps when we pick up the plates. So we took delivery with Harshal Patel. He was very professional and did a good job. He answered all of our questions and made the entire process painless. He took his time with us and we did not feel rushed in any way. The car was picked up on a Saturday and Paramus Honda was a very busy place. We had no pressure to by additional warranties, or other stuff we were not interested in. One minor thing the car did not come with a full tank of gas as I expected. When I asked Harshal about this he said because the car was driven in from another dealer they did not top off the tank. OK so we added $21 for gas, a little annoying given we just dropped $21K for a car, but given the rest of our experience it was minor. So to sum our experience I would buy another car from Paramus Honda, they will treat you with respect and stand by the deal they made. More
