I stopped by this dealership today with every intention to buy a car. I knew it was going to be a bad experience when they had me line up for the service center - 10 minutes before they realized I wanted t to buy a car. Then they sent me around the building - never saying sorry. I then when into the showroom walked around for 10 minutes and not one person asked me if I needed any help. I then went outside and waited to see if anyone wanted to sell a car. After about a 15 minutes my wife called DC Honda of Tenafly and asked for direction. I went in side and asked to speak to a manager. The woman there asked "Why" and I said I wanted to buy a car, but no one wanted to help me. She would not get the manager, I just walked away because no one cared. Even though it was out of our way, I could not of been happier there. I drove away in a brand new Odyssey. Hey Paramus Honda just because your location is on the highway - if you do NOT help the people who stop in to buy cars - why are you in business. It is all about customer service and treating people right. All I have to say in this bad economy - look at me in my new car - BIG MISTAKE!!" More
Initially I had some problems dealing with a sales person, Barbara on the live chat. However, sales manager, Michael Porreca, followed up to rectify the situation. However it looks as though they are commited to customer sastification and have the ability to provide competive prices as such I think the end result is that a customer would be ultimately sastified. This was my first visit to Dch Honda or any Honda dealer, because i did not think i could ever afford a Honda even thou i like them, i went just to look and end up buying the car. The Sales person John was very patient with me, took the time to provide me with the information i needed and very friendly. The price of the car surprised me. I have never had a transaction that went so smoothly. Although i must admit that God Almighty was at the head of this transaction, the sales person was very professional and good at what he does- sell cars. Thank you More
I came in with an Edmunds.com printout for the car I was interested in (Honda Civic EX). The printout showed the MSRP, Invoice price, and something called the "What Others are Paying" price, and this last interested in (Honda Civic EX). He simply asked if we had a deal if he matched that price, and I said yes. So within an hour we were basically done. Not pushy at all. The other thing I liked was that they didn't calculate the sales tax on the price of the car including the destination charge (basically taxing the destination charge), which is what other dealers have done to me in the past. Sales person was willing to come in the next day, when he originally had that day off, in order to be there when I came to take the car from the dealership. More

We entered the dealership looking to see if we wanted to lease another Honda. It was not our intention to purchase / lease a car that day, as we knew our price range and believed it was imperative to talk lease another Honda. Having had great experiences with DCH Paramus in the past, we believed we should start with them. Although it was extremely crowded, we were immediately taken to customer / sales support and met with Vernon Faith. An industry veteran, Vernon was extremely knowledgeable and worked closely with us in obtaining the best possible deal. After three hours, we had not reached the exact deal we were seeking, and as we were in the process of leaving the dealership, Vernon went to "bat" for us, and we were rewarded with a wonderful deal. We love working with this dealership and understand why they are the top ranked dealership in the country. More
I thoroughly researched several NJ dealerships. I live in the Chatham/Madison area so I naturally went to the closest dealership. The salesperson was a decent guy but he never got back to me!!!! I also contacted another dealership, down the road from Paramus Honda and again no call-back via internet. This really surprised me and now I know why Paramus Honda rules!!! They were professional and on the job. The internet salesperson, Barbara Twomey was responsive and really worked with my needs, both financial and car-wise. We went back and forth via internet and phone and she came in with the best price and financial package for my CRV EX 2010. I was down to two dealerships, Paramus and another one who was also responsive, but Honda Paramus was quick to beat anyone in price. When my husband and I arrived at the dealership - the deal was in the bag - and then we met Raphael Ramos, the salesperson who was extremely adept in his sales position. He knew we just wanted the car and he did his best to get us out in good time. I would recommend him as a go-to salesperson if you choose not to use internet sales first. Very nice guy and he knows the car purchase process to a T : insurance, etc etc. We also met Barbara before she left for the day and thanked her for her help. Honda Paramus wants your business so don't even bother to go to the nearest dealership - you may lose a good deal and a sound financing package. We would have lost it if we waited for the guy down the road. Also, Bill Lister, the manager at Paramus Honda, seems very eager to make the deal happen. The finance department, a good guy as well, was clear in what we had to choose from and the process was painless there as well. I hope this gives the readers a good idea. Just do your research and if you have to travel a bit, don't let it get in the way of a good experience. Perhaps, the no-response dealers see the CRV as a safe sale and need not to negotiate. I say, shame on them! And I don't think the Honda CEO would approve. It's a big purchase and one should get the best price. More
