Everyone at the dealership was very friendly upfront, but the atmosphere immediately changed once price discussion got underway. Both the salesman and the man he introduced as his manager were very pushy and aggressive, and made me feel rushed. Although I was told the mechanic for the dealership had OK'ed the car, my mechanic found numerous flaws adding to a quite substantial repair bill. At this point in the process I discovered the lack of true customer service at this organization. They talked a lot about being proud of their customer service, but when it came time to address my concerns about a refund, I found I could not be put through to any responsible person; I was left on hold and transferred around, and told that the person I needed to speak to had gone home for the day (conveniently). None of the admin staff ever called me back and my salesman was still trying to pitch the car to me when I went to have my deposit refund processed. This place works on high volume and it shows; if you want time and personal attention, or have any need for customer service, go elsewhere. I was shopping for a pre-owned vehicle, so it's possible customers for new cars get a better reception, but to me that is not an endorsement. Save yourself the stress. More
We are loyal Honda owners and it was time to look into trading in our 2004 Civic for a new model. After a less-than-satisfactory visit to a dealer closer to home, we were tipped off about the superior qu trading in our 2004 Civic for a new model. After a less-than-satisfactory visit to a dealer closer to home, we were tipped off about the superior quality of service at DCH Paramus Honda. We acted on the suggestion to visit and could NOT be more pleased we did!!! The floor manager, Barry Magnus, came down to greet us. We had no appointment and he had an imminent meeting but took the time to help us personally. We told him what model we were interested in and what general terms we were hoping for. He listened and with the utmost professionalism laid out a deal that we found VERY favorable. NO GAMES. NO POSTURING. Just "this is the deal you asked for, this is what we can do". A businessman treating us like valued clients. He assigned us to Rafael Ramos, a salesman on the floor, to attend to the details of the purchase and trade-in. Again, we were treated professionally, genially and respectfully. The exact model we wanted had to be located and shipped. We were kept up to date and within 2 days had our new 2010 FIT, which has been a great car. Let me be clear here: Every step of the process was handled in a friendly and professional manner and we could not be more grateful. More
