You'd think you just bought a Bentley! I thought I was impressed when Mark Gershmin assisted me in buying a new 2012 TSX in record time and no aggravation but service was just as great! Now I thought I was impressed when Mark Gershmin assisted me in buying a new 2012 TSX in record time and no aggravation but service was just as great! Now in 12/2014 my TSX recently came up with a minor issue with the heat so I added the routine stuff too. Right off the bat, one of the guys in the garage (I drove in when I shouldn't have - sorry) said leave it there, he'd handle it for me, walked me in to meet Advisor Mauricio Cadavid and even more pampering happened. He actually listened to my concerns, it was all accurately documented on the work order too (yea..I know! Crazy right?), and he walked me over to the waiting area with a quick tour of the amenities. Everything was a Mr...this and Mr.. that, very respectful. A "shuttle" - more like a RDX with a respectful driver, shuttled me home so I can run my errands. Mauricio called me with proper updates all throughout. I mean, progress notes not useless calls. I love proper communication when it comes to business and Mauricio never had me guessing throughout the day! When they were all done testing it properly, he sent another gentleman over in a RDX to take me back - again greeted respectfully. I came back to an ever enthusiastic Mauricio, a washed and vacuumed TSX, and working heat. I've had many brands before and DCH Acura/montclair nailed it! It puts other places to shame (ehemmm..P. Ave BMW ~ Maywood) and others should see how it's done from buying to service. You really would think you were getting your Bentley served.... it's Acura..done right. I wish I asked the name of the drivers who shuttled me and the technician who made the repair and service, he left the car cleaner than it came it and . Thanks DCH for a great team experience. I didn't see the others names listed but if DCH see this, please pass them a copy and send them my regards. More

I appear to write about the professional and polite service provided to me by Maruico Cadavid, Service Consultant of DCH Acura Montclair. I had a repair problem with my Acura RDX under warranty. Not service provided to me by Maruico Cadavid, Service Consultant of DCH Acura Montclair. I had a repair problem with my Acura RDX under warranty. Not only did Mr. Cadavid address my repair over the phone immediately he offered me a loaner car and allowed me to drop off my car within the same hour of speaking to him. A pleasure to deal with nice people ! More
DCH Acura in Verona, NJ went above and beyond at a time I really needed them most and was jammed into a really bad position. Leaving Newark Airport on a frigid February evening, my transmission started really needed them most and was jammed into a really bad position. Leaving Newark Airport on a frigid February evening, my transmission started to fail. I forced my old MDX to get out of Elizabeth and limp past Newark to finally pull into the nearest Acura dealer I could find on my GPS - at 8:55pm on a Tuesday about 60 miles from home. The ladies and gentlemen at DCH immediately focused on how to get me to my neighborhood. Did they even suggest sticking me on a train back into the New York City then catching another train back out to get home by 1 or 2am if I was lucky? No, the people working there are from all around the area and found the person closest to my home to give me a ride - saving me hours fighting to connect random mass transit home or making my wife leave the kids alone to travel hours out and back through the cold and dark to get me. Special thanks go to Mike Porreca (the Assistant General Manager) and Ben Klein (the Sales Manager and my friendly chauffeur) for rescuing me on such a cold and ugly day. And as a follow up note, both their service and sales department after the fact have been very straightforward with me discussing my car and the issues I am facing today. Logistics make it difficult but they have certainly been a legitimate conversation to potentially fix my old friend or sell me a new one despite the distance. UPDATE: So I had an even better experience with DCH working through a deal on a stellar used car they had available. They had a solid, clean vehicle they had cherry picked but still offered at a reasonable price and they were willing to work on with me on it despite the awkward position I was in with my old dead friend stuck 80 miles from home. They worked through all the pieces in a professional fashion - even taking ownership of an issue that showed up after I'd taken the car off the lot. I'm a month+ in with no complaints and I would certainly recommend them. More
