This is my second purchase from DCH Montclair Acura and the experience was extremely positive both times. Having done extensive research prior to going to the dealership, I already knew I wanted the 2012 A the experience was extremely positive both times. Having done extensive research prior to going to the dealership, I already knew I wanted the 2012 Acura MDX, but needed to see it in person and to test drive it. When I walked into the dealership, Mark Gershman approached and was very friendly providing the space and time I needed to review the car. When we started talking further, Mark's personality and connection was great. His jokes made me comfortable instantly establishing a good rapport. It didn't feel like a typical sales approach eager to get the sale that day. Mark did not push for commitment on a purchase. Instead he took my information and we coordinated in a few days via email and phone. Once I was ready to make the purchase, I returned to the dealership to discuss the details. While Mark provided a great deal on the MDX via email, I was enlightened to learn that I also qualified for the Costco (lower) price plus the Conquest discount. Add to it a very fair trade in value on my Mini Cooper....I couldn't be happier! So I threw in a few more accessories. :-) Ric Coyle (Finance) was very pleasant and had his information in order by the time I spoke with him to sign the forms. Mark was a wonderful sales person to work with during the negotiations, he gave me the best price, was very patient, sincere and very honest when dealing with him. I have owned 3 MDX and the only reason is because of Tom Cardace and the service department. Tom is the best service consultant you could ask for. He does everything he says he will do. He keeps me informed of any potential problems and fixes the issues that are in current need of repair. My 2001 MDX has over 250,000 miles on it, still on the road and I owe it to the service it has received from them. I know that when I leave, my truck is in great shape. As a women, no bigger fear could be is to break down on the road with a child and I fell extremely confident that will not happen. It hasn't happened to me since 2001 and that is saying something.... This was by far and away the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. There were no juvenile games where they kept me waiting while the salesman went to "talk to the sales manager". As a woman, I find it a bit intimidating to walk into a car dealership but as soon as I did I was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable. Dimitry and Frank were very knowledgeable and explained all th car dealership but as soon as I did I was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable.
