We were looking for a used car and recently had a nightmare experience with Liccardi Ford. Barry and Rubin were polite, professional and did not put any pressure on us to buy. They were upfront about everything, thoroughly addressing all of our issues and questions. They tried to help and accommodate us as much as possible. They also had the 90 day guarantee buy back. The check engine light was on when we purchased the vehicle, so we took it back to the friendly service center at the dealership. They were extremely helpful, quick and gave us a loaner vehicle while they fixed the problem free of charge. We did not buy a top of the line, expensive car, but we certainly were treated like a top of the line customer. I hope to get all my future cars there if possible. I cannot say enough about the courteous sales staff and service staff. Our great experience at this dealership with Barry, Rubin and the service staff were above our expectations. Jose encouraged us to test drive all the models to determine the best fit for our needs & was more than willing to fully answer all of our questions/concerns along the way. He also provided good tips as an owner of his own Acura to assist with our final decision making process. We were able to negotiate a deal without the pushy sales pitch & things done that were promised on the day of pick-up/trade-in. After the process of picking the Acura TSX that we finally choose, Marie R. entered the picture to satisfy the financial piece along with with extended warranty options. She was equally professional & helpful without being pushy or too overwhelming to allow us to determine what we wanted along with things that wouldn't be useful to us without any extra hassle. Marie took the extra time to explain anything that was not fully understood for over an hour to make sure we were all on the same page. Based on our experience with Jose L. & Marie R. at the DCH Montclair Acura, we would recommend others looking for a new or used Acura. The sales experience should be a good & satisfying one in general. The true test will be the ongoing relationship for maintenance, repairs, etc... My sales person (Jamie Borja) was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and was able to answer any questions we may have had. We were able to purchase and leave with our new MDX all within the same day! Our finance manager (Benjamin Klein) was very kind and considerate, and was able to get us in and out of the dealership. I was able to salvage the rest of my afternoon! The overall process was very smooth and fast and I highly recommend anyone who is looking to get into an Acura to visit DCH Montclair Acura!
