My First Used Car I'd like to start off this review by saying that this was the second dealership I'd visited on the day I bought my car. First I went to Hudson Honda i I'd like to start off this review by saying that this was the second dealership I'd visited on the day I bought my car. First I went to Hudson Honda in search of a used Honda Civic, and while they were decent at best (I'll write a separate review for them), I walked out with nothing. A few hours later, feeling disappointed, I thought, xxxx, I'll try DCH Montclair Acura. There was only car I wanted to look at, and with the help of Colleen Amirr (who, as far as I understand, is in charge of internet sales...I'd emailed about the cars first) I was introduced to Barry Katz, who was very helpful. The test drive was fantastic. I don't know my way around the area, but Barry guided me down two roads where I was able to aptly test the car's speed, brakes, acceleration, and its performance while driving on an incline. He answered my questions promptly, and most importantly, didn't try to push me to make a decision. But the decision was made. As soon as we went inside, I made an offer on the vehicle, and although I did make a bit of an aggressive offer, a manager was called (I don't remember his name, sorry) and we were able to come to an agreement. I went home that day with my first used car. That was last week, and I've been a happy driver ever since. More

Tony greeted me attentively as soon as I walked in the door and was nothing but helpful thereafter. All of my questions were answered, the deal itself went smoothly, and I did not walk out feeling I was ripped off. He had advised me to come back in an hour and a half to sign the papers and pick up the car to prevent us from waiting around, and when I did the paperwork was ready to go, as was my new ILX! In addition, Ben was very professional, explanatory and patient in presenting my finance options . My first visit to DCH Montclair Acura was more than satisfying and I would recommend this dealership to others; in fact, my father intends on going there when his current lease is up!
