Great Service Department even under construction! DCH Kay Honda has a great service department. On a Saturday they are rolling cars in and out like a well oiled machine. After taking my car to have a tire repaired there today I commented to my wife I am going to by and service all our cars at DCH Kay Honda, service has never been so easy and the people at the department are so friendly. New Car Lease Transmission Problem I was disappointed when my brand new Honda Civic had a transmission problem. I took it back to the dealer after 6 days so it could be repaired. This w I was disappointed when my brand new Honda Civic had a transmission problem. I took it back to the dealer after 6 days so it could be repaired. This was shocking because I'd had various Honda models over the course of 30 years and never needed a significant repair. The service manager, Steve at DCH Honda in Eatontown, NJ was A-MAZING! Steve put me in a rental car at their expense and did everything possible to fix my car and accommodate my never-ending questions. At times, I was a bit demanding due to the inconvenience, but Steve's customer service skills were beyond perfection. He was patient and effective throughout the process. When my car was repaired with a new transmission, Steve went the extra mile by returning my car washed and ready to go. Although, I was upset that my new car had a big problem, Steve showed me nothing but the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Kudos to Sergio, my mechanic, who was excellent in assessing and resolving a difficult problem. More

Steve has went to a great extend to get approval from upper management to completely remove and change the whole 2 front seats with a brand new factory seats (Seats had some unknown damage). Joe was amazing in the way he received the car and assigned the best tech to do the job, and also checking that the job is done correctly. Nader was awesome in the way he kept me informed during the whole process, even calling me when the car was in the shop to inform me with the progress and when the car will be ready. If you would like a dealer that not only looking to make a sale but also want to keep his clients. That is the place to be. Look for Nader to help you to purchase your new car. Look for Joe to help you with a great service. If you ever have a problem Steve is your man, he is very knowledgeable and fair. I have been with this dealer for 15 years and I hope I will be with them always. Very happy with the fair price and the great service. I had my 2012 Civic here in February for a throttle body c Beware of the service department.. I have had two bad experiences here, one being very bad. I had my 2012 Civic here in February for a throttle body cleaning to resolve a bad driveability problem I was having. The service cost $129, which I paid and was told the service was completed. My receipt even claims in writing that the service was completed. When I left I noticed the issues I was experiencing continued so I believed my issue was something other than the throttle body. While I was troubleshooting further, I took a look at the throttle body and noticed it was *entirely* clogged with carbon buildup. It had never been cleaned or even touched by DCH Kay Honda. The throttle plate was 95+% blocked from carbon, which is the exact reason I took it to be cleaned at Honda. They never cleaned it, even though they charged me $129 for the service. I took pictures proving the work was not done and contacted DCH Kay Honda to ask for a refund. I was contacted by Ken Kallok who asked for the pictures and apologized. I sent the pictures and didn't hear any follow up for almost two weeks. I contacted DCH Kay again, only to be called by Ken Kallok a second time and was told I would be receiving a refund. It has again been almost two weeks with zero followup. No refund as promised, no further contact, nothing. This is the second bad experience I've had here, and it's sadly pathetic how this situation-- and I-- have been ignored. The first bad experience I had was a technician installing the cabin air filter upside down after a multi-point inspection. This could have easily caused debris to get sent up into my fans. No biggie, I noticed it and fixed it. I had the throttle body cleaned at another shop and guess what...? All of my issues are now completely gone. If DCH Kay had done what they were paid to do, this experience would have been so much more positive. Because I have not been contacted or refunded, and virtually ignored, I now will be pursuing this in small claims court and will never step foot into DCH Kay Honda again. I bought this Civic at DCH Kay and enjoyed my experience. However, unfortunately for them I am currently in the market for a new CR-V and it looks like this $129 issue just cost them a $28,000 sale.. one customer lost. Taking my business to Honda of Toms River for now on. Much better experience. More

My air conditioning was working intermit I've always been skeptical with servicing vehicles at car dealers however, DCH Kay Honda has changed my mind. My air conditioning was working intermittently and I read of a possible warranted compressor clutch failure. I expected other fees included with repair however, that was not the case. The car was ready for pick up that day at no charge. The staff was courteous and fully explained before and after pick up. I will continue buying and servicing our cars from DCH Kay Honda. Thanks! Not happy with service department!!!!!!! On July 9 I went to the DCH used car lot to look at a 2007 Honda Civic for my son. When I started the car to take it for a test drive the A/C was blow On July 9 I went to the DCH used car lot to look at a 2007 Honda Civic for my son. When I started the car to take it for a test drive the A/C was blowing extremely cold air, which I even made a comment to the sales rep about ( GOOD SELLING POINT ). I purchased the car that night and picked it up the following day. When I got home my son said the A/C was not working, blowing warm air. I called the service department to see what could be done. I was told because it was just purchased that they would take care of it. My son brought the car back Wednesday morning and waited while the car was being repaired or so I thought. I received a call about 1 1/2 hours later saying the compressor was going and there was nothing they could do about it. They could repair it ,but I would be charged for the repair. I don't think it was a coincidence that the A/C just happen to break the next day. I feel they knew about the problem and sold the car anyway. That's not a sign of a good dealership. More
