Jury still out on the service and quality of work. I bought a used car in February. There is condensation in the headlight lens cover. I called service to see if that is covered under the warranty. He told me it will be covered if it fails inspection. The car is not due for inspection until May. Is this a ploy to get me out of warranty time? The salesman also told me to take the car to service and they might be able to correct the problem. I want to know if the condensation is covered under the warranty. I believe it should be repaired at no cost to me. Please advise me where to go from here. Bruce Cannell More

My initial visit was very positive. I found a car I liked and the price was what I was looking to pay. Mr. Reynoso made several promises about timeline in regards to when and how I would receive my liked and the price was what I was looking to pay. Mr. Reynoso made several promises about timeline in regards to when and how I would receive my new title, which I had him confirm more than once on the date of the purchase. My mother had joined me on the day I purchased the car and was witness to all that was discussed. Since it was a Saturday when I made my purchase, I was told I would have to wait until monday when the person who did titles was in the office and that it would be "overnighted" via mail to me. Although I was aware I had 20 days (yes, only twenty out of state in NY) to receive the paperwork and register my car, I had mapped out my plan based on what I was told. Come Tuesday the story had changed. It two weeks to get the paperwork and I had to call repeatedly since I always got Mr. Reynoso's voicemail and invariably he never returned those calls that day. I also tried via email. Dates of expected delivery came and went without title arriving. When I did finally track Mr. Reynoso down. He had no recollection of his verbal commitment and indeed gave me the impression that I was unreasonable in my expectation. I also spoke to his supervisor in this process, who at least offered up a sense of apology. And when the title finally was ready to be mailed it what he, not Mr. Reynoso, who made sure it went out next day mail, not 2 day mail as apparently now Mr. Reynoso claimed -- "it was always done." P.S. the diode that lights the odometer does not work and would require a complete change of dashboard light panel. Something pretty hard for a buyer to notice on a bright sunny day, but surprising in lieu of DCH's rigorous inspection of the car. But as I willing signed to buy AS IS, I guess I"ll have to live with that one. Since then I get "friendly" AUTOMATED calls from DCH's service department to let me know they're there to help. I personally find this unwelcome and presumptuous, not only in lieu of what happened. But that it isn't even a human being calling me -- which seems par for the course. More
I called and Marty answered the phone. From the beginning Marty was kind and listened to my needs. He was always honest with the information he was giving. Overall good dealer. Price matched online quote from another dealer. Quick, professional and friendly service. On the day of car pick up, mvc and paper work took only short time, car was ready. This dealership came recommended. I was very upfront where I was in my search but the still attempted to get me on price and trade in value. The sales representative Evelyn Wallis at DCH Kay Honda was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was looking for a 2009 Honda Civic sedan and she took me on test drive. I had a 2007 Honda Accord coupe and fe was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was looking for a 2009 Honda Civic sedan and she took me on test drive. I had a 2007 Honda Accord coupe and felt the trade-in amount was reasonable and fair (was able to get 3.9% financing on the new car). The finance director Matt Brodback explained everything in detail and even pointed out that I might be due a refund on the service and maintenance contracts from the '07 Accord I was trading in. I thought that was excellent customer service on his part. As I was preparing to leave in my new 2009 Civic LX S two technicians (never got their names) were kind enough to remove the license plates and Sirius radio wire from the Accord. Lastly, there was a young lady in the service department who was also very helpful. All in all, it was a very positive buying experience. More
