I was making other plans for the day when I got a call from Stephen Moore of Kay Honda in Eatontown who was following up on previous quote. I was in no mood for any more car shopping, but he was a straight talker and skipped all the baloney. He made it very simple and gave me the bottom line with a very good price. And that was it. We jumped in the car and headed to Eatontown. I fully expected to get bombarded with games, but that never happened. I was offered options which I declined, and there was never any high pressure selling. (Had there been, I would have bailed) Stephen was unscripted and genuine. I have never, ever written a complimentary piece about a car buying experience and, most likely, never will again. Aside from Steve, I also a very good experience with Mark from Finance and one of the managers whose name escapes me. I wholeheartedly recommend Kay Honda to anyone considering a Honda product. On a side note, our shopping experience at the Honda dealership in Old Bridge was good too. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Freehold (Nick) or Lakewood (Patrick). And this was our second very poor experience in Lakewood over the past two years. To the management at Eatontown, thanks for having sales persons like Stephen Moore, and thanks for an overall fantastic experience, our first one ever. I did not hesitate to return when my lease was about to terminate to procure another Honda. I was met with the same exemplary overall experience as the first and worked with Dave. Dave had me test drive two vehicles and explained them throughly. I felt I made an informed and excellent choice with the Accord Coupe. The financing and all documentation was throughly explained by both Dave and the Credit Manager. I was able to drive the new Accord home that afternoon.
