The only Reason I’m giving 2 stars is for Omar in Service department. I took my 2017 Honda civic hatchback for service and check whats wrong with car. Told them what diagnostic showed and they check the car and told me first according to the Tech who check. That will do a transmission check and we have to put a new fluid, that cost me $209, plus a hose change for $95, plus $200 for the inspection. I went picked up the car and I specifically asked, so transmission is good, they confirmed yes; transmission is good and we didn’t find any metal, I was like great, drove fine with the car, next day I’m going to work at 5am, it took me about 10 miles for the check engine to come back, same issue with car, same warning sign, I was close to the dealer, so I dropped at 6am, few days later, they call me and transmission is bad and cost $6500 to fix, so I was like I paid for it to be fixed for nothing after confirming to me, transmission didn’t have any metal. I asked them to value my car for trade in and a sales rep name Thomas was like a $100, the tires on my car cost 400, I tried to work out a deal, but no one cared , there response was unbelievable poor, FYI I was always a proud Honda owner and owned 3 cars and only brand I drove, but after this experience. I lost trust with Honda, for getting charge for service that wasn’t needed, if the tech did his job right the first time, Sales rep poor response and FYI Temecula Nissan offered me $1500 for the car with bad transmission. I went in on July 29th to purchase a 2025 Honda crv hybrid well it’s been in and out of the service department 3 weeks after purchase. The ac makes a loud groan noise when ac is on and when I turn it o hybrid well it’s been in and out of the service department 3 weeks after purchase. The ac makes a loud groan noise when ac is on and when I turn it off. 3 WEEKS after I purchased it WTH! They have been replaced a couple of parts already but it keeps making noise. Yesterday when I dropped off car again at service in the morning I get a call from Larry in service to tell me they need my car for longer to evaluate car further his words were “ Saturdays are busy and we can not take all day to fix 1 car “ very infuriating… very frustrating… now I don’t have a car until who knows how long… at this point this car is considered a lemon car since it’s been in shop 3 times already with no resolution… I spoke with Ken I was told he was the GM of this location but not much help… I reached out to Jose the sales man that helped me during purchase process left me high and dry… this is ridiculous brand new car went to xxxx… my prior car 2022 Honda accord was totaled on July 19th so it’s been bad luck with cars this month… During the process of purchasing the CRV I found the same car at another dealer for cheaper same exact style and everything they were supposed to price match but they never did.. the out the door price we had discussed was different from the final price it came out to… they don’t care about their customers at all… I will be taking my business elsewhere after all this xx… I will be contacting a lawyer More
I’m looking at purchasing a car from this place, this was my first option. So I called in and (Corey) answered the phone. I then started questions on what the out the door price was for a new civic sedan, wh my first option. So I called in and (Corey) answered the phone. I then started questions on what the out the door price was for a new civic sedan, what discounts they were offering. And he just started getting upset and asking me what I was trying to get out of the phone call. He was very unprofessional. Later, I got an Estimate of an OTD price of $33k, then after my complaint they said they’re willing to do a “manager special” giving me wait for it wait for it, $3k off the vehicle, ending in the same price! Only difference is in the first email they didn’t bother to include the dealer markup! I do appreciate Jose though on being professional More
I purchased a vehicle from them. And he told me the car had been run through their service department. The oil transmission were changed and everything else checked out OK. When I go And he told me the car had been run through their service department. The oil transmission were changed and everything else checked out OK. When I got home with the car, I checked the windshield washer fluid and was completely empty. So it makes me doubtful whether or not they change the transmission fluid. I’ve tried to reach out to them several times for an answer, and no One has called me back. Also, they tried to charge me $1400 for an alarm system that they said they had installed. That is a complete fabrication of the truth. There was never any $1400 alarm system installed in the vehicle. They tried to charge for some special coding that was put on the car. I knew that was a fabrication because I do ceramic coating on cars. This car had thousands of water spots on the hood. So they never did anything to remove the water spots so I know they didn’t put a special coating on. To be honest these guys aren’t stay away. I purchased the car because they dropped the $1400 alarm which never was and the special coating that never was. More
Pulled a classic bait and switch on a used vehicle listed on cars.com. All of the prices listed on the ads are actually 2500 dollars more once you arrive at the dealership because of an alarm and some miracl on cars.com. All of the prices listed on the ads are actually 2500 dollars more once you arrive at the dealership because of an alarm and some miracle paint coating that adds 2500 to each vehicle. We were told it was non negotiable. We have filed complaints withe the FTC , California DMV fraud department and DCH corporate. FTC and DMV have opened investigations and are moving forward. I thought these tactics went out years ago. Shocked to see the old bait and switch is still alive and well More
Reached out to them multiple times, but they never responded. Called them several days later, made an appointment to test drive the car the next morning, got to the dealership for my appointment, car responded. I've purchased a car from DCH in Tustin previously, and from 20+ dealers across 7 states over the years. The salesperson we worked with on this deal (Corey B) was courteous, professional and knowledgable. from 20+ dealers across 7 states over the years. The salesperson we worked with on this deal (Corey B) was courteous, professional and knowledgable. However, we worked for two days to try and purchase a pre-owned car at the full price listed to no avail. Every time we thought we had a deal, DCH introduced new deal terms, new add-ons, and new financing gambits to try and sweeten the deal for themselves while adding absolutely no value for the buyer. Finally, we said we'd bring our own financing and they went nuts claiming that they aren't allowed to do that. Until they were about the finish the weekend with no alternate buyers. Then they called back and claimed they were willing to make an exception. Really?? While they were screwing around, we walked into another dealer, offered a virtually identical deal, and completed the transaction end-to-end in under 90 minutes. Everyone felt good about it -- the dealer made a profit and we didn't pay for useless add-ons. It was refreshing to see that some dealers take customer satisfaction seriously. Unfortunately, DCH Honda isn't one of them. More
