So I recently had two issues with Toyota Prius. First, the cable to unlatch the hood broke. Second, I was getting an intermittent red triangle on the dash (the red triangle is typically linked to t First, the cable to unlatch the hood broke. I took it into Toyota and they informed me that the diagnostics would cost $169. Seems a bit steep but worth it to have someone familiar with the vehicles take a look and solve the problem. I get a phone call letting me know that the cable is broken (Nevermind I had already told them it was broken). They proceed to tell me that it would be $511 to replace the cable. WHAT?!?!?! A quick google search lets me know that the cable can be purchased for $34 brand new. I tell them not to replace the cable. "What about the red triangle", I ask. They aren't sure what's causing the issue but they'd like to start by replacing the 12V battery. How much? $400!?!?! for a stinking 12V battery I can get for less than half the price anywhere else. I inform them I want the car back, go pick it up, and pay $169. I get home and do a quick google search on what causes an intermittent red triangle. After spending 5 minutes on the forums, I learn that being low on oil could cause this. So then I do a 5 minute YouTube search on how to pop the hood of the car open when the cable is broken. 30 minutes later I have the hood open. Sure enough, I'm low on oil (due to the age of the engine, it must be burning oil as I had not seen any leaks on my driveway). I give it more oil and take it for a spin. Voila! no more intermittent red light. I'll be purchasing the $34 cable and will be replacing it myself. DO NOT GO TO DCH TOYOTA in Freehold. They just want to cheat you and take your money! More

He explained all the changes they are facing while still helping us get an excellent deal. I can’t believe we’ve never dealt with Ian before, we’ve bought many cars from Freehold Toyota over the last 20+ years, and he has been there almost the same amount of time ! We will definitely come see Ian next time we are in the market for a vehicle. Also, have to give a shout out to sales manager Meir, we’ve dealt with Meir with previous purchases and he was just as wonderful to work with this time as last time. More
Horrible customer service. Went in to get a car and wanted to do a trade for a another car and just because I was not going to give a down payment I was treated so horrible like i was not of any intere wanted to do a trade for a another car and just because I was not going to give a down payment I was treated so horrible like i was not of any interest or a priority. I got there first and was being helped by a guy named Bruno who is the one that was an unpleasant salesman. I was brought out to see a car of interest and explained to him what I wanted to do and after I told him I had no down payment he blew me off and started attending other customers and left me waiting. I asked for a discount price on the vehicle and he laugh and said “dealers don’t give discounts to people who don’t have down payment” . And proceeded to say my trade in was not even worth appraisal because I was not going to afford a new car. Rude guy don’t go there More

Such a bad experience with this company they are not a dealership you wanna use. They never told me my Camry was in two accidents and they said you signed the car fax I said ya sign 20 papers to buy a car dealership you wanna use. Drove into DCH Toyota and Donald greeted us at the front door. Interested in Toyota Camry, he showed with us both used and new models.
