When you make an on line bid, you will get an email that says you can "Consider the car sold". However, when you arrive at the dealership, they do not honor your bid. They use lame excuses like "The price w says you can "Consider the car sold". However, when you arrive at the dealership, they do not honor your bid. They use lame excuses like "The price was listed incorrectly", or "We have no record of your on line bid". How can they not have a record of the bid when they responded to it? How is it that they can say "If you have proof of the bid, we will honor the price" and then, when proof is presented, they say that the printed price was in error. When I arrived at the dealership, I spoke with Ian. Ian was very professional. However, when I told him of the price that was approved, he then turned my purchase over to Nick. Nick struck me as being nothing more than one of those "typical used car salesmen" who is not honest. Then, when I started to complain, Nick was joined by (who I believe to be James Rizzo). Together, they started to "throw their muscle" around. This is NOT the first time something like this has happened with Freehold Toyota. My wife and I were shopping for a car for our son. Same scenario. On line bid was accepted and then, not honored because the listing was in error. We also purchased a Celica from the dealership many years ago. We agree on a price, only to find out 2 days later that it was being advertised through Auto Shopper at a much lower price. DCH Freehold has lost ALL credibility with me. I have filed a formal complaint with the NJ Department of Consumer Affairs. I have contacted an attorney and am looking into the possibility of filing a suit against them for fraudulent business practices. More

I went here couple weeks ago to purchase my dream car. At first, I talked to Ms. Nori Wilhelm and she referred me to her husband Ian-Michael because she has stuff to be done. As a customer, we ask a lot. He answered me in a very informative way and never shows me being disgusted every time I ask. I only feel bad, he walked back and forth to his manager because of that. Anyways, he's easy to work with, very professional, he showed care on me as a customer and he let me test drive first the car just to make sure I would be in love with it. I didn't feel any pressure on him. After talking, negotiating, signing of papers and everything, I was amaze because he and his wife Nori they work and helped each other (that was very late already, I think past 8 at night) we're the only one left inside! They're really helped me out, not just Ian but also his wife Nori. Both of them are very accommodating and kind. I really appreciate it and HIGHLY recommended these two salesperson! 5 out of 5!!! Ms. Ann Kaplan at DCH Freehold Toyota was a joy to work with in my purchase of a 2022 Toyota Camry hybrid XLE. Bottomline: this new Jersey Toyota dealership beat out the competition - including Honda and S with in my purchase of a 2022 Toyota Camry hybrid XLE. Bottomline: this new Jersey Toyota dealership beat out the competition - including Honda and Subaru dealerships. I had begun my search for a midsized/mid-priced sedan using U.S. News, Consumer Reports.com (CR) and Truecar.com. And ultimately identified a sedan (including its vin#) at DCH Freehold Toyota. I first spoke with the Internet Sales Director, Mr. Tom Gordon, to check on pricing; and then met in person with Ann Kaplan to finalize the purchase price (Great Price according to CR) and the factory delivery date (within a week of the purchase). I found the dealership and Ann Kaplan to be welcoming, very knowledgeable about their vehicles, and willing to work with customers who had done their homework on the internet and were pretty certain about the vehicle they were interested in purchasing.
