Steve "scuba" Scheunemann told me it was available and I scheduled a time to come in the following morning. 10 minutes before I arrived he called to let me know that there was a mistake, and the vehicle was "In transit" from the factory. I told him that was okay, and I knew what the vehicle entailed and was wanting to talk numbers. I came in and we negotiated a price of 27k on a vehicle with an MSRP of 36k by providing other competitors deals, just as we were about to get the price in writing he came from his Manager who said there was a mistake and the van was pre-bought from the factory and is unavailable. He told me there was a similar van at a nearby dealership that he could trade for and sell it to me. As we crunched numbers, I brought up concerns about missing features I was interest in and was not willing to spend a large sum of money on a vehicle I wasn't happy with. He told me he would follow up with his parts team on an exact price to get that done the follow day because they had the day off. The next day he called to tell me that the price for adding those features was unfeasible, and I reluctantly still met with him to try to get a good price on the van without those added features. After I drove an hour back to the dealership, he told me that the price of 27k Steve had given me yesterday was a mistake and the manager "accidentaly "doubled up on rebates" and the new price was 29k for a 35k van (before taxes) which was more expensive for less of a vehicle than we had negotiated yesterday 27k for 36k) Steve Scheunemann tried to go back on his word saying that the price we agreed on was for the most recent van, but I was writing everything he was saying down as we were negotiating for the two days in the dealership. I told him about a TrueCar quote i recieved from a dealership which honored 4k off for being a "USAA Certified Dealer" and me being a USAA member, DCH would only honor me a $350 discount for being a USAA member. He showed the sales manager and the sales manager would not honor that deal although they claim they are a "USAA Certified Dealer". At which point I realized I was being swindled. A few key summarizing points to this review. 1. Steve got me in the door and talking money with a vehicle that wasn't even available that they had advertised online. 2. Steve gave me a price that was impossible to walk away from. 3. Steve reeled me in by thinking I could get an even better deal by getting me a vehicle that had even lower MSRP. 4. Steve meticulously made all the deals start to fall through the cracks as if it wasn't hit fault. 5. I walked out realizing I was being swindled into a bad deal. 6. Two days since the discovery of the "already sold vehicle" and it is still listed online. I've realized that Steve Scheunemann and his crooked team play on two main points: 1. Most people, after talking numbers for 6 to 8 hours are so exhausted that they just want the experience to be over with and will settle with whatever "mistakes" cause the price to go up. 2. Most people, are too lazy to take the time to write a well-thought out review, which means there are probably a lot of anonymous people who have been swindled by this team of crooks. Closing remarks. I think Steve Scheumann thought that was the case with a 22 year old guy in the Navy. But that's where he was wrong. He might play the "Retired Marine" card on you and act like he's your friend, but he is there for one reason. To take your money, and the more he takes from you the more he gets. Tread lightly. More

Received a I took my 2005 PT cruiser in for service as it was overheating. They said the radiator was bad so I told them to go ahead and replace it. Received a call back from armel, and he said I have good news and bad news the good news is the new radiator is in and the bad news is it is still overheating. He said this thermostat was bad and it was probably a combination of bad thermostat and bad radiator. So I so I said to him you put a radiator in that wasn't needed $680 later. The next day he called and said my car was ready and it wasn't overheating anymore. Drove my car for approximately 20 minutes the car overheated the water pump seized up broke my timing belt and destroyed my engine. Roger Chavez the assistant service manager said he would make it right because they are straight shooters, that's a lie they are crooks. They completely tore my car down and said the heads were warped and basically for $3200 more they could fix it. This was a missed diagnosis, it had a bad water pump all along so they destroyed my car and I would suggest never going there to anybody reading this. More

She wasn't in her right mind when she Sales guy Ryan Mistak took advantage of my disabled sister who signed her life away on %20 interest unknowingly. She wasn't in her right mind when she signed, but the sales team took advantage of her gladly. We took the car back 1 hour later to return the mistake only to be denied by the heartless dealership and sales team and laughed at us for trying to correct a simple mistake. My sister makes rash decisions having a multitude of mental illnesses. We explained to the dealership that she in no way could afford the payment, as she lives on a fixed income through disability. Just getting through a simple day for my sister is a huge challenge. Anyone reading this who knows someone with mental illness would understand. Ryan Mistak spoke to me and my 72 year old mother in a condescending unprofessional tone, smugly smirking at us after we pleaded our case and was denied. They wouldn't do the right thing. My sister suffers from a slew of mental illnesses and the sales team used that disadvantage against her to make a dollar. Chrysler Temecula is the worst breed of salesmen in an already dishonest industry. In cases such as ours, one that deserved a deeper look and understanding, many other dealerships would have done what was right. Our experience at the dealership speaks to Chrysler Temecula's cowardice. More
Sales Misrepresentation Purchased my RAM at DCH Temecula, CA and was sold a maintenance package that I was told covered the first 8 scheduled services. The charge was $800. Purchased my RAM at DCH Temecula, CA and was sold a maintenance package that I was told covered the first 8 scheduled services. The charge was $800. I dropped my vehicle off today for it's first service only to find out that the only thing covered is oil change and tire rotation. Since I can get tire rotation for free where I purchase my tires and Jiffy Lube and the like charge $30 for oil changes for this type vehicle I feel I was overcharged in excess of $500 for the value of these services. And while I know the fine print somewhere has their xxxxx covered and I have no way of proving the misrepresentation I know that it occurred as I would never have paid that much for 8 oil changes. I feel I was deceived and it has left me with a very poor opinion of the dealership and by extension Dodge itself. I will not do any further business with them nor am I likely to purchase a Dodge/Chrysler or Jeep in the future. I will be submitting a complaint to California Consumer Affairs, the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, posting my experience on Yelp and like sites and letting everyone I know how I was ripped off by Dodge and it's dealership. This seems to be a common problem with Dodge as you can do a google search and find all kinds of information about it on the internet. Michael Casey the service writer told my wife that they haven't heard of any problems with the TIPM and it would be $120 to reflash it, which she had them do. My wife later picked the truck up after the service was completed and was given a list of recommended services to have done. That weekend I performed a oil change and noticed that the dealerships service department forgot to re-engage the engines air filter box lid and fasten the retainer clips and one of the clips was missing. My wife stopped back by the dealership the following Monday and spoke with their service writer Michael Casey, who got an attitude questioning which clip was missing from the air cleaner so she had to call me at work to explain which one it was. She also showed him some information about the problems with the TIPM problem to see if Dodge would reimburse us for the $120 for the reflash. John told my wife that he spoke to his manager and said that our vehicle was 10 years old and the module is was probably no good anyway because it is 10 years old. He laughed at her and told her maybe she should get a hold of Dodge and get in on the class action lawsuit that she show him about the problem with the Dodge modules. Michael could of handle the situation better and said that it wasn't covered and told her maybe to write a letter to Dodge with our concerns. I originally purchased this vehicle from another dealer due to this DHC Dealership wanting me to make an appointment for the following week just to get a test drive so I can see that their customer service hasn't improved in the last 10 years.
