I bought my 2008 Accord from this DCH Honda back in 2007 over the internet/phone. I dealt with Mark & John (don't remember last names). They gave us a deal that we couldn't refuse. Since we owned a 2005 over the internet/phone. I dealt with Mark & John (don't remember last names). They gave us a deal that we couldn't refuse. Since we owned a 2005 Odyssey, we began getting it serviced there as well. Had a few issues with the 2008 Accord, but Rick has always been a stand up guy to take care of it. Recently, I was in an accident, whereby...long story short, the engine ceased. Called Rick, had the car towed to him, insurance guy came the same day...Liberty Mutual, what a company (Five Stars) inspected & submitted to have the engine replaced. The car was fixed in 5 days....5 days, wow. My neighbor had a minor fender bender & his dealer took over 9 days to fix the rear bumper & trunk. I've recommended DCH to everyone. I've even written letter to the headquarters congratulating them for hiring such wonderful staff. Oh, another thing. I was recently in for an oil change & asked if I have the tires balanced & rotated, and what do you know...Christine (I'm sure I have the wrong name...but she was oriental) accomodated me without a hesitation. After all was done, she said Mr. Sanan, we did an oil change, balanced & rotated the tires, and oh yeah...one of the tires had a nail. We took it out and fixed the flat. I asked whats the charge....no charge for the flat. Thanks for your business Mr. Sanan. Wooooooo....can you get better service than that. NO WAY. I love this dealership. Thank you DCH Honda in Old Bridge, NJ. More

Service guy (forgot to ask his name) who spoke to me was also very good and explained the problem very clearly. Sales Manager - Ruben, Sales Person - Khalil and Service Manager - Amy are really kind enough to address the issues. Thanks, Ganesh More

Worse service ever, if u are willing to pay $2000 for a simple brake change then you should go there. They will make you change multiple parts that you do not need, and they will convince you that you nee simple brake change then you should go there. They will make you change multiple parts that you do not need, and they will convince you that you need them for safety. If you are not a car person, you will believe them and pay $2000 for unnecessary repairs. More

Maybe the DCH Academy Honda representatives can also address some of the shortcomings and negative feedback provided, instead of simply thanking everyone who posted praises here. We personally had mo address some of the shortcomings and negative feedback provided, instead of simply thanking everyone who posted praises here. We personally had more negative than positive experience with DCH Academy Honda, both in terms of sales and service. This was what happened to us. We went down to DCH and got decent service during pre-sales when we wanted to buy a car. The salesman did describe the car pretty well, allowed us a test drive, showed us the interior of the vehicle and even had the Carfax report. But we wanted to buy a car with keyless entry and the car that the salesman was selling to us didn't have that. So he promised that to install the feature for us as part of the deal. We made the deal at their dealership price (very close to the highest KBB dealership value quoted for the car). I knew that I didn't get a good price, but I didn't mind paying a premium as I had the impression that DCH Academy Honda had excellent pre and after sales service and support. This turned out to be untrue. When we went down to get the keyless entry installed, it was very inconvenient for us as they claimed that they couldn't do the installation on weekends. So we had to take time off on a weekday to go down. Moreover, they told us to leave the car with them for the whole day, so we had to get our own transport back to our office. This was still tolerable. Unfortunately, when we went down (after taking time-off), they made us wait for about an hour before they realized that they had "ordered the wrong parts"! We were upset but we tolerated that. Then they said that we could bring in the car on a Saturday (we could not do that previously but all of a sudden, now we could?!!) and they will install the keyless entry then. On Saturday, yes, you guessed it, they did it again. "Sorry, we ordered the correct parts and the box that came was correct, but the parts in the box were wrong." - that was their explanation. And we were told about this screw-up only after sitting in the waiting lounge for about 4hrs. For all these inconvenience, the sales manager said that they would "compensate" us $150 credits for maintenance services (oil change etc) and get us a rented car for a day while we leave our car with them. Is that compensation a lot? Given a choice, we would rather have a hassle-free installation and spend all those wasted time outside enjoying the summer. And we were pretty sure that we paid more than $150 extra for the car from them, expecting decent service. So that pretty much sums up our experience with DCH Academy Honda. More
