Insure tires against damage (never informed about, just added) and pressured into buying the oil change package which the price was lowered each time I said no (that should have made the light bulb go off in my head). they said 2 oil changes a year (its once a year) and average cost $78+. Went for oil change cause wrench finally went on (after having the car for a year) and surprise....Only cost $40. buyer beware. Don't fall for the extras they try to sell you. save your money. (unless you do mega miles) Hope I have the car long enough to pay for the Oil change package. More

I therefore upgraded the rating from 2 to 4 stars, and changed my non-recommendation of this service department to a recommendation. Original post: My 6-month old CR-V (bought at this dealership) was towed in with a dead battery two days. ago. I called to let them know that Honda Care would be towing me in. I was told (by Adara in the office) that because there was a cancellation, I'd be taken right away. I wasn't. When the work was done, I was told that a service bulletin for my problem had been issued (so it was a known problem), and the software for my Vehicle Stability Assistance feature had needed to be updated, and the battery was recharged. My issues with this service visit: 1. I should have been notified about this problem BEFORE my battery died (since it was a known problem). 2. The battery should have been replaced by the dealer. This 6-month old battery now has a reduced life span because it had been drained completely, then recharged. 3. The service manager I dealt with (Nicole Damiano) did not explain to me that the problem was also related to the timing of my turning on the emergency brake (of all things). Instead, she gave me a copy of the service bulletin to read this information for myself. 4. The car was returned to me with the automatic headlight feature turned off. That night, I drove for almost an hour in the dark before I realized it. 5. The car was returned to me with the Lane Departure Warning system turned off. It was over a day before I realized this, and had to delve into the owners' manual to figure out how to activate it. Evidently, Road Departure Mitigation is related to Lane Departure Warning.....I think! 6. I had to find Nicole when I saw my car sitting in front of the building, after the service was completed. I don't know how long it had been sitting there, but I had just been checking to see what progress had been made. The paperwork was already on Nicole's desk, but one of the other employees had to go find her for me. More

Nik Esposito was very professional and pleasant. I purchased my car in 2015; Ryan Hoey was the Salesperson. It was a great experience overall; and I have recommended him to other friends that have been looking to buy a car. More
Mechanics need to learn how to check oil. I decided to go to the dealership to get the Oil changed on my daughters 2014 CRV. The dealership gave me a print out on items that needed Future Attention. So curious I looked at the items. A couple of the items they NEVER looked at. Some of the fluids were low. the air filters were dirty and They claimed I needed tires. I found out later the tire that Honda put on my daughters car from the factory were over 2 years old. The tires I can not fault the dealership. BUT not checking the fluids (which they claim) and air filters is unacceptable. I know all the tech. does is look at the mileage but I specifically asked them to check them. I have had my issues in the past with this dealership but I gave them a third chance ( shame on me) From now on, I will bring my car to my local gas station. More

Great customer service from Cholo I had previously leased a Honda Pilot touring from DCH Academy Honda and had an issue with my glove box lock the first day I purchased the car. I was a bit bothered by the fact that I had to drive back from NYC to fix something on my new car. Upon arrival at the service deptartment I was greeted by Cholo he was very concerned and explained everything to me about my issue and promised me it would get resolved. Two days later he personally contacted me that my part had arrived and made sure that he went above and beyond to resolve my issue and provide excellent customer satisfaction. Thanks Cholo. Excellent Customer Service and timely service. Had to bring in my 04 Honda Pilot for some major service before a long vacation. It was last minute service and they took me in. My service advisor Nicole and Service Manager Jerwin were excellent. They explained all the services that were needed. Though I couldn't get all the services in the service book, Jerwin identified all the critical items to be fixed before our vacation. They also had a rental car service, not just shuttle services, which was greatly appreciated for services lasting more than one day. I received a call the next day and my Pilot's service was completed. Nicole greeted me and Jerwin explained all the services that were completed. I would highly recommend DCH Academy Honda service department to anyone looking to get their vehicle serviced. More
