I had an issue with my car that I found a manufacturers Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) about. It detailed that the fix and that it should take 1 hour to perform it. I brought the car into the dealership Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) about. It detailed that the fix and that it should take 1 hour to perform it. I brought the car into the dealership and showed the TSB to my service advisor. His quote for the repair was for much more than one hour of labor. making the repair much more expensive than I was expected. He said that the hours listed in the TSB were only what they could charge Honda for that repair under warranty. What a load of crap. The time to fix should have bene one hour; he was just trying to rip off a loyal customer. So, I went off to a local auto repair shop that I trusted and they performed the fix with only one hours labor charge. More
