I checked out their on-line inventory and saw they did not have the vehicle (Civic Coupe EX-L with Navi) I was looking for in stock. I sent an email to see if they could find one for me. Within a short time I heard back from Mark who not only said he could locate one for me, gave me a price which was extremely reasonable. Much lower than I expected. I had a trade-in so he recommended I stop by and get it appraised. I stopped by a few days later and met Mark and Paul. Paul helped me get the price I was looking for on my trade, locate the vehicle I was looking for, and coordinate the installation of additional equipment so everything was ready when I picked up my vehicle. If you are in the market for a Honda, you MUST stop by Academy and see Paul. He and the whole team over there will treat you right, you will not waste your time. More

Based on my experience with this dealership, I'm highly suspicious of the other reviews here. I can't believe that others had such a good experience after my dealings with them. And the dealership does kno suspicious of the other reviews here. I can't believe that others had such a good experience after my dealings with them. And the dealership does know about this site, my salesperson referenced it. Anyway, I purchased a 2005 Honda Odyssey from DCH Academy Honda. My wife contacted them about another car that they were advertising but that was not available, but we were told about this one. We called them back a little later and told them we wanted to come see it. They said great, it's ready, so we headed in. We mentioned over the phone that it was a long trip for us {over an hour} and we had 2 small kids {a 2 year old and a 4 month old}, so we wanted to make sure it was available. They said absolutely. When we got there, the car was indeed there but only then did they tell us that they sliding door on the drivers side was broken. I don't expect them to mention that in the ad for the car, but when we call and tell them we are coming from far away with an infant and a toddler, you would think they would mention it, right? No. The car looked good otherwise and after taking for a test drive we decided we were interested, pending repair of the door. They assured us it would be taken care of. The price was good, plus it was listed as a Honda Certified Used Car and included a warranty, so we agreed to purchase the car. We came back a few days later to pick it up and finalize the paper work. That was basically amatuer hour. You would think they never sold a car before. It took forever and no one seemed to know what to do. Also, we were told the plates would be ready then, but they were not. So that meant a 3rd trip back for us. We drove the car home and it was fine, HOWEVER, the CD player did not work. This is where things really fell apart with them. We drove back up for a 3rd time to pick up the plates and have them fix the CD player. They told us the player and the entire audio unit had to be removed and send to Honda in California for repair, and we wouldn't have it back for well over 3 weeks. It seems hard to believe that was the only option to have this repaired. I told them not to take the unit out as we weren't sure what we were going to do and I really wasn't interested in a 4th trip back to the dealership. We never would have purchased this car if we knew the CD player didn't work. What really concerns me is that this was promoted as a Honda Certified Used Car--that means that it goes through a thorough insepction of all parts of the car to ensure it is in working order, including the CD player. So obviously that wasn't done, which has me wondering what else wasn't checked?! My salesperson told me "I didn't check the CD player because I didn't have a CD". And that's an acceptable response?! I asked to see the Service Manager and was conveniently told he wasn't available. The only offer they have made to resolve the situation is to have the CD player looked at again by another mechanic. I would stay away from this place. Maybe the new car sales experience is better, but buying a used car from them was really painful. The sales people look like Circuit City rejects, and are typical used car salesmen who will do whatever it takes to sell you a car, which includes lying/withholding information. Don't think you are getting a quality car if they promote it as a Honda Certified Used Car. It's obviously meaningless. Really bad experience. More

I purchased a 2007 at the beginning of 2008 and last week I bought a 2009 Accord LX. Although the location of this dealer is not ideal to me (it is a 45 minute drive), however, the staff at the dealer provides the best customer service at the lowest price possible. They do not jerk around & give you the best price to start with. Sunil has been very helpful in the whole purchase process. I checked around with other dealers in the area & no one could beat DCH's price. They treat you with respect & dignity and really make the car buying process a breeze. Last year, I had to take my entire family & the kids were running around the dealership & everyone was more than friendly. Another positive is the follow-up from the dealer on how the car was doing & if I had any questions to let them know. Another amazing aspect is their credit dept also came very close to the financing rate I was getting from my bank and the man personally apologized that they could not get a lower rate, which just shows class & how respectful they are. I would recommend this dealer to anyone in a heartbeat. More
I recently purchased an '09 Accord Coupe. This is probably the 7th new car I have ever purchased and this was by far the best experience I had at a dealership. My first contact was with Lauren (In probably the 7th new car I have ever purchased and this was by far the best experience I had at a dealership. My first contact was with Lauren (Internet Sales Manager). I requested a quote from a couple of dealers and hers was the first response and the best price. I even was able to speak to a finance person about rates before even setting foot in the dealership. I setup an appointment and went to the dealership and was introduced to Marcia. She was very helpful and professional. I test drove the car I was interested in and then went inside to work out a deal. They only had 1 Accord in stock that had what I was looking for, but it also was a model higher than my internet quote was based on. I asked Marcia what the internet price would have been for the higher model and she came back with an extremely reasonable price - was actually less than Edmunds TMV. I worked with Tian on the financing and found him to be very helpful and willing to answer an questions that I had (financing, warranty, etc.) I also have been to the service department twice (once for spoiler installation and another for slight rattling sound). Both times, I was there only about 1 hour (both times on Saturday). Each time, the work was done properly and as I expected - best I've ever experienced. All of the service people are very friendly. The waiting room has Wifi, a TV and free coffee and donuts. More
My wife and I arrived at the dealership at 9:00 AM and were greeted at the door, even though a meeting was in progress, a salesman was sent to help us. We were there to look at a Civic Hybrid, not knowin were greeted at the door, even though a meeting was in progress, a salesman was sent to help us. We were there to look at a Civic Hybrid, not knowing anything about the car. Paul Singh told us all about the car, took us for a test drive and never rushed us nor pressured us about the car. Once we decided that we were interested in the car he explained the cost, asked us if that was acceptable, and while his first offer was OK, when my wife and I made a counter offer, he went to his manager and it was approved immediately, with no long drawn out negotiations. Upon meeting the sales manager I thanked him for his professionalism in coming to a mutually accepted price, and he in turn thanked me for agreeing to a price that was fair to both the dealership and myself. The paper work was completed by Tian Reid the finance director who was equally a pleasure to work with. He took care of us in a timely manner, explaining different available products, but never being pushy. They continually offered us coffee, water, and had donuts available for us while we were there. They also respected our time and had the car ready for delivery by the time the paper work was completed. The longest consumption of our time was how long it took for my wife to decide which color Hybrid that she wanted. Paul even had a car driven in from another location so that my wife could see a particular color. Our experience at Academy Honda was a pleasurable one. More

Michael Serra was very friendly through out the entire time and continuously made sure his customers were comfortable. He made sure I knew exactly how my car functions (I just bought a 2009 Civic Coupe EX - I highly recommend it), and answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly; which shows that he knows what he's doing. I definitely got a great price on the car and would recommend DCH Academy Honda to anyone looking for a car. More
I spoke to Sunil on the phone and he gave me a good price. When I came into the dealership, the cost did not change like at other dealerships. I had a very good experience with the purchase. My visit to DCH Honda Academy was perfect because Michael was not pushy or over anxious with me to sell a car. He let me look first and when I said I would get back to him he didn't push me for my phone numb was not pushy or over anxious with me to sell a car. He let me look first and when I said I would get back to him he didn't push me for my phone number, email etc. Thats the reason I decided that after looking at numerous other dealers, I decided I wanted to buy my car from him only. He didnt make me feel like I was being lied to about the price and he was never in a hurry with me. Being a first time car buyer this meant more to me than anyone will ever know because it was nerve wracking to begin with but he made the experience a breeze. Another great quality he possessed was that he doesnt talk to you like you are an idiot. He explained everything I wanted to know but didnt make me feel like I should know all these things already. The entire team was polite, kind and very accomadating. they were polite and funny and easygoing and thats why I will recommend DCH Academy Honda to anyone I know looking for a car. More
