Great experience. I went into this dealership to start up a new lease, and it was perhaps the easiest re-lease I've ever done. In fact, he showed me a couple of things in the new car that were also in my old car but I never knew about because my previous salesperson didn't give a tour! I would easily and wholeheartedly recommend this dealership because I've had a couple of good experiences there now, and Paul Rittberg, my salesman, was tops. More

I usually say that I'd rather get a root canal than buy a car. This experience was very different. I actually enjoyed shopping at Academy Honda. The next morning there was an email from Lauren Muglia with an itemized list of what I had asked for. She followed that up with a phone call and was just so nice that I decided to look at what Academy had in stock instead of going elsewhere. Lauren introduced us to Khalil Quraishi who took us out for a test drive. Khalil explained all about the car and answered all of our questions. Since we decided to use the cash for clunkers program it took us much longer than usual to make the purchase. Khalil was extremely patient and did not try and rush us in any way even though it was an extremely busy Saturday afternoon. Khalil then introduced us to Abdo Behary (another nice and professional Academy employee) who completed the paperwork in record time. I can honestly say that everyone we met was professional, friendly and so helpful during the entire process. We'll definitely go back to Academy the next time we're looking for a new car. More

We entered DCH Academy Honda just before closing on a Saturday evening. Everyone was courteous and very helpful. We told him that were looking for a new car and could he give us a price including taxes and everything else for a particular Honda Civic model. We told him that we were familiar with the car. He immediately got on his computer and gave us a price which he wrote down for us on the back of his business card. The price was less than another dealership and there was no haggling or having to go to a backroom to speak with a manager. We told him that we would probably come back on Monday to purchase a car. We returned on Monday afteroon and completed all the paperwork {including the 'cash for clunkers' material} and drove home that night with our new Honda Civic. It was that simple and there was no sales pressuring or maneuvering. We picked up our NY plates from the dealership towards the end of the 20 day temporary registration period. He demonstrated an excellent attitude regarding my desire to purchase a 2010 Honda Pilot EXL. He was not deceptive or agressive in selling a product and obtaining a quota. Clearly Jorge had a genuine interest to make you happy with the numbers. In the process of taking a test drive he humored my 3 son's with his amusing tales of his childhood, something that i could relate to. He was calm and courteous throughout the transaction, and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. We had to wait a day before we could finalize our purchase and he kept in touch with us in between. We also got 7-year free oil changes! The bottom line is - they give you fair price and don't play games with it. All of their sales, finance and service staff is professional and courteous. It really was a stress-free experience for us both times, unlike at other dealerships. They also handled the CARS program very well, the paperwork and everything else was smooth and easy. More
