I just purchased my second car from DCH Academy Honda. This was my first time dealing with the used car sales department and it was a very pleasant. My experience started by requesting a quote from their website, which was advertising internet specials. I received a friendly call the next business day from Edward Moy. I met Edward later that day, where he answered all my questions about the car and comparison cars. We arrived at a great price. Edward explained everything about buying a Honda certified car and I particularly liked the 7 year/100,000 powertrain warranty, which is actually longer than the warranties offered on the new cars. Edward offered great customer service to me and my wife. He did the etching on the windows and had the mechanics correct a tire pressure which showed up on the car's dash monitor. I would recommend Edward if you are in the market for a used car. More

I was greeted by this young sales person Abbey Samejo who showed professionalism and passion for her work. I didn’t feel she was just trying to sell me a car but was honest and cared about my needs. She was well informed and was able to give me various options for me to consider. She was pleasant and knowledgeable of the cars she was selling. I have been in sales for 24 years and I was very much impressed with her sales techniques. I had gone to this dealer simply to compare prices, but after I had Ms Samejo help me I knew I was going to return before I make my final decision. After few days of my first visit I went back to DCH Academy Honda and Ms Samejo was able not only to sell me one car but two cars one for me and one for my daughter. The person that handled my finances, Tian was also very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained thoroughly all the steps of financing. Tian was courteous, helpful and very well informed. Like most people, I was initially wary about having to set foot again in a car dealership, but extenuating circumstances made it necessary to buy another car. (My last experience with a certain Allston, MA Honda dealership left a very bad taste in my mouth - high-pressure sales tactics, no floor mats, and a DIRTY CAR on delivery). I am very pleased to say, I had an **excellent experience** at DCH Academy Honda. Highlights of my experience: - Lauren Muglia, DCH Academy's Internet sales agent, was prompt, courteous, and helpful. She gave a line-item cost breakdown in her first email reply (which I've never seen happen at any other dealership), and the price was very competitive. She even checked the VIN numbers of their in-stock vehicles to see if they had any units built in Japan (no luck, but at least she tried). - Andy Lau, my sales representative, was informative, upfront, and patient. It was absolutely frigid during the day of my test drive, but he was very understanding- even as I wanted to try a second car (with navigation). He pulled no punches; without hassle, he removed the optional window etch, and threw in wheel locks as well. - Excellent price, as promised! The F&I manager did try to upsell a Honda extended warranty (great product, but too expensive), but he redeemed himself by giving me plenty of time to scrutinize the contract without interruption. I would definitely recommend this dealership. Now I see why the are repeat winners of Honda President's Award & JD Power awards! Final tip 1. Not the dealership's fault, but Google maps told me to take one jughandle too soon (try typing new brunswick nj 08901 -> 1101 US Highway 9 North, old bridge nj 08857) - maybe this can be fixed? More

The staff was rather friendly, while remaining straight forward at the same time. I arrived at DCH Academy Honda after a refferal from a relative. Upon my arrival, Edward Moy worked diligently to obtain the car I desired, while staying within my unyielding budget. Lastly, I would reccommend DCH Academy Honda to everyone based on the effort put forth by Edward Moy, the large selection of cars, and a comfortable environment that other dealers were unable to achieve. I was in the market for an Accord lease and visited or contacted 10 dealerships. I explained to each dealer how I wanted the deal structured and how much I was willing to pay. It's amazing how you can receive such different quotes on the same car (considering they all pay the same dealer invoice price). In the end, there were about 3 dealerships that were in the ballpark of what I wanted to pay. The decision therefore came down to customer service and Marcia, Lauren and Tian were exceptional. It started with Lauren in the internet department. Her initial quotes were consistent with the lowest offers I had gotten so immediately I was comfortable that this was an honest dealership. Once in the dealership, Marcia took the lead and in less than an hour (after a test drive in the freezing cold)we had a deal. There was no B.S. and back and forth to the sales manager. She took the number we discussed to her manager and got the deal done. I was scheduled to pick the car up the wednesday after x-mas (during the busiest week of the year). I stopped in unannounced on the Tuesday before to see the actual car I would be leasing (it was snowed-in another lot the day I went for a test drive). Since I was there already, Marcia had me meet with Tian (finance manager) to fill the paperwork out so all I had to do on Wednesday was pick the car up. It took less than 45 minutes start to finish. I picked the car up the next day in pristine condition. Thanks to everyone for a great experience. I'll be back in 3 years to lease my next car. More
