This was my first visit to this dealership. I originally went with the intent to purchase a used car, but no used car on the lot struck my fancy. He took his time in explaining to me the differences between the different Accord types and then took me on a test drive. After I chose the car that I wanted, we were able to agree on a very reasonable price. I am very satisfied with the Honda that I purchased as well as the price that I paid for it. Generally an easy car buying experience: I was given a direct out-the-door quote by Mark ("Can you beat this price?" / "Yes, here's our total out the door price" / DONE! I really like that) and placed an order for the car the same day. Unfortunately it was not in stock and took 2 weeks to arrive. Khalil sat down with me and explained every step of the closing process; both Mark and Khalil were helpful, accommodating, and friendly throughout the process. Things were a bit different when sitting down with the F&I manager. I wanted to pay cash for the car and he kept insisting that I finance it instead. He quoted me one interest rate which miraculously transformed into a higher interest rate on paper and refused to even acknowledge the existence of a promotional rate which I had printed from Honda's website and brought with me. That experience felt extremely rushed ("sign sign sign, why are you reading it? Just sign") and nearly killed the deal at one point. Nevertheless, my car buying experience at DCH Academy Honda was generally positive. More

Mark greeted me the same each time I delt with him from being interested in a Honda Fit awhile back to being interested in a Honda Accord and buying one. Once Mark and I agreed to what I wanted it was over and done with, he was able to locate the new car for me in 2-3 days and I just had to go pick it up. I didn't even leave my house and I pretty much bought a car all I needed to do is go there and sign. Once at the dealership, Mark set me up with Nitin and he was a pleasure also. He was very attentitive and explained all the details of the car to me and all it's functions. He even called my insurance company for me and waited on hold to correct a potential problem with the name on my card. Smoothest transaction ever for a new car. So if you want no gimmicks, upfront pricing and the best customer service go to DCH Academy. Also, I wanted to mention that I've traveled about 40 miles from NY to get to this dealership and got lost a few times, but I wouldn't mind doing it again to get another car in the future or to pick up my new plates in a few days.
