I first went to Honda to look at the new 2013 Honda Accord. I was interested in the LX model but was not familiar with Honda vehicles at all, so I wanted to browse and take a test drive while I decided Accord. Also, I had read that the new Continually Variable Transmission (CVT) could be jerky (Spoiler: It is not jerky at all). Joe Koedros was the sales rep we were paired with. He was very personable and after asking my wife and I some basic questions about what we were looking for, took us right out for a test drive. He pulled one of the LX models off of their lot and we took it out for a road test. The ride was so smooth and the list of standard features is awesome (back up camera, blue tooth, and even automatic climate control). At no time did Joe try to convince my wife and I to get a different, more expensive model. He respected our choice and focused on what we wanted. After the test drive, he took my car to get appraised for a trade-in. They offered us a fair price for my used car and we looked over the detailed pricing sheet for the LX model. After reviewing the financing options, my wife and I wanted some time to think over our purchase before signing. There was no pressure for us to stay and sign that afternoon. Joe was very understanding to what we wanted and simply gave us his card and told us to give him a call when we had decided. It didn't take us long after getting home to decide that the LX was the right choice for us. I called Joe back only about 2 or 3 hours after we left and told him I would be back in the next morning to buy a new car. When I arrived the next day, the car had already been pulled for detailing and Joe was ready with all of the paperwork to finish the deal. The process was smooth and relaxed. I have been driving the car for almost a week now and have absolutely no buyers remorse. I love it! I would absolutely recommend this car and this dealership to any of my friends. We will be going back here for my wife's new car when it dies in a couple of years. More

I'm not in any way a fan of car shopping and find it very stressful, so I'm sure that colors my ratings. Joe was very helpful, though. I also feel there should be some sort of loyalty discount. My husband buys/trades regularly every 2 years, and we've bought multiple new cars from DCH in the past. You're closer to us and more convenient, but our previous 2 cars (bought at same time) ended up being purchased at Academy Honda after we went to DCH first and felt as if we'd never been there before, deal-wise. Academy was able to meet our rate on clean, excellently maintained trade-ins with relatively low mileage. More

i just wanted to thank both Joe Guzzo and Vipin Rishi for making my experience a good one. I came in already upset from my experience at Kay Honda in Eatontown, as I was treated rudely and disresctfully. I w making my experience a good one. Joe and Vipin treated me with respect and helped me make an educated and financially wise decision...I would recommend them to anyone buying a car. Sadly, I bought three vehicles from Kay Honda, but will no longer be going back there. I was told that only 20$ can be taken off the sticker price (which is ridiculous) and was not given financial advice that was helpful. They were condescending and ignored by budget concerns. We traveled 45 mins away from our home to DCH Academy Honda on the recommendation of a friend. Boy are we glad we listened to him! We were met with a smile and handshake, and immediately felt we "came to the right place" after meeting with John Nuygen. He introduced us to Joe Koedros, our salesman who worked with us, and more smiles, we felt very comfortable with all of these professional people around us. No pressure, what we received were honest answers. They listened to our concerns, our wants, etc. No bait and switch going on here, no double talk either. Showed us what they had in stock. Took into consideration our needs. Then we met with Tian Reid in Financing. Who walked us thru more offers, etc. And whether we said "yes" or "no", again no pressure. Everyone, down the line, was willing to answer all of our questions and listen to and address our concerns. We left the dealership with smiles on our faces as we drove our brand new Honda off the lot. The very next day, we received a phone call from Joe our salesman to see "how we were doing with our new Honda" and again told us, just call me if you need anything. This is the 1st time we dealt with this dealership. And I have to say, I'm so sorry I didn't know about it sooner! More
