Unprofessional and careless I purchased (financed) a pre-owned car from DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring approximately two months ago. The selling process was relatively smooth an I purchased (financed) a pre-owned car from DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring approximately two months ago. The selling process was relatively smooth and trouble-free. All the problems emerged after the selling process ended, sigh! I specified to the sales representative who sold me this car that I was going to take the car to a different state and thus, if there was something I had to do in order to obtain my plates from a different state. This person assured me that they would take care of all the paperwork and I would receive my plates via mail service on time. In the meantime they gave me a two-month temporary tag. Well, guess what?? The two-month temporary tag has expired an I have NOT received my plates!! I have called them innumerable times, but every time I do so they simply say that the registration process has not finished. I tried to contact the financial service manager who did all the paperwork, his name is Wahab Lodin, but he never answers the phone, either he is busy, he has taken the day off, or simply he does not want to pick up the phone!! Now my temporary tags have expired and I still do not have my plates. I obviously cannot drive the car any more. DARCARS is so unprofessional and careless toward their clients. You better choose another Toyota dealer because, once they sell you the car, they completely let you by yourself. And of course, steer clear of this guy Wahab Lodin, once he sells you the car $$$, he does not care about anything else. More

After a few weeks of calling we finally spoke to the fleet representative at the dealership, Mr Moore. On the phone he seemed very short, abrupt and unfriendly when trying to schedule a time. I scheduled for 4:00pm on February 27, 2019 and unfortunately because the dealership is 50 mins without traffic from my house and over and hour away from where I was working that day in Waldorf, MD. I was late for my set time. On my way when I realized I wasn’t going to make it in time, I called the dealership and asked to speak to Mr. Moore and the receptionist tried to look for him but told me to continue to come because he was still there and she would give him the message. When I arrived he came from the back, obviously annoyed, to the desk and I apologized for being late but explained the horrible traffic I faced getting there that evening. I explained that I called and the receptionist told me to continue to come. He said she’s just a receptionist and said that he called me to tell me not to come. I did not get a call from him and I was using my phone as a GPS and would have definitely seen the call. So he told me that I would have to reschedule for another day and to come back. It was a great inconvenience to go all the way home then to take time to come back there. I said, I’m here now and if there was someone else that could help me that would be great. He said there is no one else to help you. I can’t ask someone to help you, take them off the selling floor and help you and not get paid. We don’t get paid to help you. This is a service to fleet. I would not have even called you until the end of the Month because we do this at the end if he month. I said the end of the month is tomorrow Sir. He said I’m really getting frustrated with you. I don’t have to do this I have deals that are important that I have to close they will keep me here until 1:00am and to do this that I’m not getting paid for is not my priority. I said well I don’t know anything about who gets paid or why you do this. All I know is that my company told me to come and pick up this car. I again, apologize for being late but i called and was told to continue to come. He said no on wants to do this, no other dealership. I have the largest dealership in the area so it’s a curtesy. I said it’s not a curtesy if you are going to be so rude. I said I’m just a customer. He said your not my customer your fleets customer. Again, I’m doing this as a curtesy and it takes too long and I’m not getting paid. He said, The last guy that was here took 45 minutes to explain the car. I said Sir, You just spent 20mins telling me No. So he just left the desk and came back and asked me for my tags. A salesman looking on said to me, don’t worry Maame. He’s going to give you your car. I told him then why is he embarrassing me and causing this scene. He never said ok I’m going to take care of you. He came back and said, just give me your license plates. Then I came back with it, then he said I need your ID. So I go back to my other car the get that. He was being difficult and rude. He gave me a horrible experience and a bad taste in my gut for Darcars Toyota and your dealership. With customers and salesman looking on I was embarrassed and so upset I began to cry on my way home. I tried to remain calm with a person that was rude and disrespectful. There were other customers and salesman looking at the whole thing. Donald Moore should not be in charge of this program or any thing that deals with customer service. We all have bad days but this was terrible. And I believe that if I did not keep my cool and remained calm Donald would have a leg to stand on but I was respectful in the midst of his disrespect and attempted to keep calm so that he would give me my car that I drove over and hour to receive. I have also noticed my company Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals and Fleet about my experience. I am saddened by this experience and pray that others never experience the same. -T. Wilson More

My recent service experince I have been a customer of Silver Spring Darcars Toyota for over ten years and had my 2010 Camry serviced there last week. As always they very profes I have been a customer of Silver Spring Darcars Toyota for over ten years and had my 2010 Camry serviced there last week. As always they very professional with me and did the job right in a very reasonable time as they promised up front. I will continue taking my car there for service and recommend this place to everyone I know. More

Manager Has poor customer services "Katie" My car was taken to Darcars Toyota of Silver Sprint in July 2018. The car has a peace bent. I paid more than a thousand dollar to have that part replace and fix, short after that I found out that the car was slight bent to the left and when the speed was over 60 m/p the steering wheel start to shake. I decided that I would take the card back, but because I was busy with a trio to the DR plus my job obligations I couldn't do it right away. Short after I left the country my wife took the car to Darcars Silver Spring. The manager at the moment called Medhi took ownership and attempted to solve the problem. The mechanic who try to fix the card was the same one who created the problem in the first place by letting the steering wheel piece loose that later damage the car even more his name is "June", after the car was fix I was explaining Katie the manager on duty that the steering wheel was bent about 5-10 degree to the left which almost cause me an accident that very morning on my way to work, but "Katie" the manager was very passive aggressive always trying to blame me for the problem of the car. She didn’t show empathy or care while trying to condition me to pay to fix the card again when the car is supposed to have two years warranty. The manager Katie was extremely rude she doesn't display professionalism empathy or willingness to help ill will never do business with Darcars and nevertheless recommend them no because of the multiple times I have to take the card there but because of the lack of skills of their manager. My wife and I were thinking about buying the second car we need a Camry 2016 for them but that's no longer an option. More
