This is a review of Darcars in general, and Mr. Shahadatur Rahman specifically, who was my saleman through this process of buying a 2013 Toyota Sienna LE. It is going to be difficult to explain Shahadatur Rahman specifically, who was my saleman through this process of buying a 2013 Toyota Sienna LE. It is going to be difficult to explain myself here, because shopping at Darcars is just simply not like any other dealership. I started my shopping by sending out an email to many different dealerships with in a certain radius. All of the offers on the requested vehicle were about the same expect for this offer from Mr. Rahman at Darcars. His offer was significantly lower. Now, I live about 90 minutes and one state away from Darcars and there are a ton of Toyota dealerships between us, so I was confident that I could simply print this email from Mr. Rahman out, march into any Toyota dealership in my area and get this same offer, thinking that any dealership should be able to match this or at least want to get very close. Not so!! Salesman do not let a customer walk out if there is a deal to be made. And yet, I was (reluctantly) allowed to walk out of almost all of them with this email, because NO ONE could match it. Some dealerships told me that there is no way this deal is for real. They said I would drive all the way up there and they would pull some fast one on me. They were either going to lowball the tradein, or bump up the APR, or that they got their salesprice so low by adding in rebates that I don't qualify for and will be taken off when I get up there. Some dealerships went so far as to let me into the back office to look at their actual costs for the vehicle minus any incentives and that they would lose a significant amount of money if they matched this offer from Darcars. So, none could get close to the Darcars offer. So, after many 2 hour headaches at so many dealerships, I made the trip to MD to visit Mr. Rahman. I sat down at his desk, waiting nervously for all the sales tactics and to see what he was going to pull. His part of the conversation lasted 5 minutes. He was simply a very friendly man who had a worksheet with exactly what he said in his email. All of the numbers were broken down. It was a legitmate offer that no other dealership was able to match. Was he going to make it up with a ridiculous APR? No! He had assumed I had my own financing (which I did) because he chose the rebate, instead of the special financing, to get the quote lower. Was he going to lowball my tradein to make it up? No! He didn't even know I had a tradein. He was simply ready to give me the best deal I had found anywhere with whatever cash or financing I brought with me. Period. Everything the other dealers said about this deal were simply wrong. And he was so kind... Other reviews have described him as being like an Uncle, and that is accurate. He chuckled everytime I tried to ask about things other dealers warned me about, and just kept repeating that he "has been doing this a long time and works with a great bunch of people who make great deals. No funny business. We give you what we think is the best offer, and you need to decide if it will work for you." In fact, at one dealership, the General Manager who couldn't believe the offer, had me call Mr. Rahman to ask certain questions to make sure the offer was legit. Mr. Rahman simply chuckled on the phone in a very friendly manner and said "Listen, you saw my email. I put the offer in writing. I'll tell you what. You bet that guy $100 that this deal is legit, come up here and buy your vehicle at this price, and then go back there tomorrow and collect your $100." (The GM did not take the bet, btw. Lucky for him!) Can I have time to think about it? YEP! No pressure. The deal had been in my email for a week already and he had no problem letting me leave to think it over a bit more. It was the exact opposite experience of every other dealership I had been to. There were no tactics to keep me from leaving or thinking it over as there were in other dealerships. And I think the difference is simply because Mr. Rahman knew that his offer was the best offer I could find. The only way I would not be back is if I wanted to pay more elsewhere. As for my terrible trade-in? His first offer on my trade was twice as much as all the others! And by simply asking for a bit more (I don't think anyone is ever completely happy with a trade-in value of their car, so I asked if he could do a little better), he smiled, called his Manager and got as close to what I had in mind as he could, blasting all the other trade-in offers out of the water. So, in about 30 minutes I got the best sales price and the best tradein offer at Darcars from Mr. Rahman. And Mr. Rahman was nice, confident, and bent over backwards trying to make sure he had done his job well. He had no problem patiently answering any questions I had about the deal or the car. One last thing for any other Virginia shoppers. Darcars' processing fee is only $200 as opposed to the $399 or even $499 that you will see in VA. A couple hundred bucks may not seem like a lot when you are already spending 10s of thousands of dollars, but if you are like us, where you are trying to only finance a certain amount, and therefore you are putting money down to get to that amount, driving home with an extra $200 in your pocket that you didn't expect is also a nice bonus. In short, I highly recommend this dealership and particularly Mr. Rahman. We will definitely be going back when it is time for another car! More

I was referred to the dealership by a friend. I worked with Ethan and Rod and had the best car buyng experience I have ever had! I had researched Toyota Corollas for a couple of months looking for the best deal possible but never found one that I was comfortable with. To my suprise I saw the Corolla I had been looking for and at a price I had not seen at any other dealerships. I immediately called them to see if the car was available and it was. My sales person was Darryl Jefferson and he was very efficient, courteous and humble. It has been a while since I bought a car from a dealership, the experience at this dearlership was painless. The price was excellent and they even worked with me to get a better deal than I expected. More
I came in to the dealership as they opened on a holiday to look at a 2010 Prius I had seen on the Darcars Toyota website. Jonathan greeted me and quickly had the car out of the showroom for me to take a te to look at a 2010 Prius I had seen on the Darcars Toyota website. Jonathan greeted me and quickly had the car out of the showroom for me to take a test drive. He was very friendly and didn't pressure me at all. Jonathan took care of all of my requests (Map DVD, spare tire, tow plug, etc) so by the time I signed the papers to buy the Prius, everything had already been taken care of and no follow-up was needed. Everyone at the dealership very efficient, friendly and did their best to get me out the door as quickly as possible. I never once felt any high pressure tactics or that I was being tricked in any way. I would definitely recommend Darcars Toyota of Silver Spring and Jonathan Njoku as a salesman. More
