It appears they foster a culture of lies, lies and more lies by sales people (not just one). I was in the market for a 2014 Tundra CrewMax TRD and they were committed to selling a new, 2013 version. Perh lies by sales people (not just one). I was in the market for a 2014 Tundra CrewMax TRD and they were committed to selling a new, 2013 version. Perhaps there were incentives to push old inventory. However, to facilitate their objectives they tried every trick in the book except being professional about it. In fact, if they knew their products even marginally, they could have made the sale as there was a huge value proposition for the 2013 version, at the time. Darcars is a textbook example of why Auto Sales people get a bad rap. Further, they made my information available to all their sales people resulting in as many as 8 calls in one day, weeks after I had already purchased my truck. I will never again consider Darcars. Costco Auto Purchase program should be ashamed of being associated with an organization such as Darcars. If it was an isolated incident with one Sales Person, I would not have left this review. More
I bought a toyota corolla from Darcars today. Amadou Bah was the salesman who helped me. He was so patient and tried really hard to get the best value for the car. Buying a car, thinking and deciding about which one to pick, trying to get the best price is really tough so you really need someone who understands what you are looking for in a car. He completely got what we wanted and was not pushy, or trying to make us uncomfortable which many other dealers use as their basic method! Also Wahab Lodan was the finance manager who helped us he was also a really nice guy, and we had a friendly chat with him at the end which maid our experience even better!! Overall I really recommend this place, I love my new car, and I'm sure everyone can find what they are looking for at the best price here. More

I bought our brand new Yarius with Abdul and it was an absolute pleasure. He was extremely friendly and professional and gave us an amazing price, no haggling or twisting of the arm needed. I love my new Toyota Corolla. I just wish that it same with a Sunroof & Cloth seats. Only the leather interior comes with sunroof, but other than that, I had an excellent experience, and most of all I lo with a Sunroof & Cloth seats. My wife and I purchased a Toyota Prius from Darcars Toyota of Silver Spring last week. Our sales rep was Darryl Jefferson and the manager we dealt with was Eric Johnson. Both of them are an asset to Toyota of Silver Spring last week. Our sales rep was Darryl Jefferson and the manager we dealt with was Eric Johnson. Both of them are an asset to Darcars and the follow up of the sales rep Darryl is the reason for this review. Most Dealerships take your money and run, but Darryl shined a light on our experience that set a new standard from the previous car purchases we have made. Darcars, I hope you are grooming him to be a future manager, because he represents your company well. I run my own successful business, but I can always use someone of his caliber. He is articulant, curtious, intelligent, and a definite gem to any growing business. His product knowledge and representation of Darcars was outstanding. My wife noticed a small scratch on the car a couple of days after the purchase and Darryl offered to pick our car up and leave his car for a few hours to have the Prius's scratch buffed at no cost. We even noticed the gas level increased when he returned. He truly gets customer service. I will be referring friends, family, and my entire 60 plus staff of employees to Darcars largely due to his single efforts and the entire Darcars experience. -Jim More
Avoid DARCARS Toyota Used Vehicles. Agreed to various terms on a vehicle - price, financing, and lease turn-in - via email with Darryl A. Jefferson and we scheduled a time for the transaction. Admittedly, an email agreement in which the "Certified Sales Consultant" states, " All that sounds like it should not be a problem" is not a contract, nor is it binding. However, upon reaching the dealership, none of the three agreed to terms were honored. Of course, Darryl begged off blaming Toyota and his management. When I asked to speak with a decision maker, DARCARS Toyota Used Vehicles management accused me of being unwilling to negotiate, calling our email correspondence and agreement, "a set of demands." Shame on me for being naive OR shame on them for not understanding that selling used cars is a commodity business in which you differentiate yourself based on relationships and customer service. Looks like CarMax or eBay motors gets my business. More
Durden was truely exception. I didnt have the intention of buying a car at that point but i got to build a car online and followed the steps described all through. By 8.30/ 9.00 in the morning, i received a call from someone in Darcars acknowleging my built car and inviting me to the office. Being a saturday, i chose to go have a look at the price range, BUT NO INTENTION OF BUYING. I was received by Manager Donald Moore but didnt remember the name of the person i spoke with on phone. He asked for my phone number, check their call records and told me it was Rod Durden. Durden was such a professional, made things look so easy and affordable. Despite being a new diplomat with no credit rating, Durden made me understand that Toyota could finance a car for me. I listened to all he had to say. I was offered 11% financing interest. Got to talk with Ji Kim in the Accounts Section and Manager Donald Moore, all of them nice pple. But all i was after was not to get carried away and leave their premises. When i finally did, i went talking to a colleague in Nigeria who last served here in the States and he informed me that the offer was great. He also confirmed that as a diplomat with no credit rating he also got 11% when he bought his cars some years back. When another colleague, still serving in the Embassy, told me he got 23% from Carmax, i immediately placed a call to Donald Moore, asked when they close for the day and that i was on my way to purchase the car. And that was it......from playing around with my galaxy to meeting Durden and buying a brand new, value for money Toyota. More
