Mechanical problems with test-driving cars We went to test-drive a new Sienna. The salesman first put us in an unprepared vehicle full of plastic sheeting, claiming it was to "avoid spreading disease." OK, weird, and uncomfortable to sit in, but whatever. Then it turned out the driver's seat adjustment lever was broken off, leaving a bunch of tubes and wires sticking out. My wife is short and I'm tall, so we asked to drive another vehicle with a working seat adjustment. The next Sienna (after waiting around for the salesman to locate it) had a completely dead battery. We waited for the salesman to go find the battery jump kit, but then the engine kept dying. Then the yellow "low fuel" light came on; the tank was dry. At that point we told the guy thanks and left, rather than get stranded on the road during a test drive. ***Postscript: got an apologetic response to this review from the dealer management. I believe this was a lapse by a new salesperson and/or service crew, and that the dealership normally provides a much more professional experience. It just wasn't their day--happens to all of us. Over charging for parts I called the service center to check if they had a replacement part before I took my car in for replacement today and the rep on the phone said they d I called the service center to check if they had a replacement part before I took my car in for replacement today and the rep on the phone said they didn't have it and that I'd have go into the parts center and prepay so they could order it. She said it would cost me $149. I went in and another guy looked it up and asked me if I was given a price on the phone. I said no, he said it was going to cost me $197. I walked out without ordering and I ordered this from another dealership for $106 (thats right), almost half the price. These guys are just ripping you off. I go here to get my car serviced often because they are good for oil changes and regular small jobs, but I don't trust them because of experiences like this when it comes to bigger repairs. More

AMADOU BAH, our Salesperson gave us a good price (negotiated) and helped us to make the best choice for our needs. Similarly, John Desouza, the Finance Manager did a good job in showing us the options of Darcars/Toyota products available (expected), but did not force anything on us. Overall this experience was the best out of three that we have had with this dealership, and we would like to credit Amadou for making it even more so. Thank you! More

We went to DARCARS Toyota on 12/29/2014 and was greeted by Tim Morgan, who directed us to Mr. Wesley. Mr. Wesley was very calm, professional, and answered all the questions we had. Although, it took long time to negotiate the final price. Everything went very smooth and in a friendly manner. Mr. Wesley and Tim were awesome to work with. There was no pressure and we got a good deal on Highlander 2015. Everyone in the dealership was helpful and professional. After the deal was completed, we went to finance Manager, Mr. Preston. He was another great person to work with. No gimmicks or threatening, which often happen at dealership, when you don't buy the extended warranty. All-in-all, Tim Morgan, Wesley, and Preston are the people to deal with.... they only treated us with respect and willingness to do what they needed to do to make the transaction easy and uncomplicated. More

She gave us lots of information about the car we were considering, both the vehicle itself (Scion iQ) and what the dealership can offer us as buyers. The test-drive went excellent and she was very friendly through the entire process. Desiree truly was a contributing factor for us to purchase the vehicle at this dealership. The only thing we did not like, was when the manager approached us after we made our initial offer. He was a little forceful and pushy, and came across slightly abrasive. Without Desirea, I don't think we would have bought this vehicle. And if the manager had been the primary associate we dealt with, the deal may not have occurred. HOWEVER, we were really happy with the car, and the services offered, and the overall quality/price of the vehicle (pre-owned and certified), so a purchase was made. Thank you Desirea! More
