I have a 2003 Prius, and it's the second car I've bought here. The check engine light came on, and when I called to schedule a service appointment they told me a week and a half later was the SOONEST they could see me. They said that as long as the light's steady and not flashing things are fine, but if it starts flashing pull over immediately. Luckily the light stayed steady. When I brought the car in, they told me (after I had been there for more than two hours) that they couldn't fix the car because they didn't have the part in stock. I asked how that could be, considering they're a dealership and they said they don't have space to keep all parts in stock. I made an appointment to come back for a second time, which was today, sept 24. THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PART. The service representative (and I use the term loosely) placed the order for the part, but did not bother to check to make sure the part was, y'know, actually in stock. I spoke to,the dealership manager on duty. He did make an offer that they would come to my home and pick up my car and repair it, but with the length of my commute and the time I would get back home that wasn't feasible. I asked for the name and phone number of the district manager responsible for the dealership. The manager's response? He couldn't give that information to me because it's 'against policy.' YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. P.S. I want people reading this to know that when I receive excellent customer service I ask to speak to the manager of the person who has provided that service so I can commend them. I am not someone who is limited to complaints only. More

Although the DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring location is VERY busy and chaotic, Jose remained calm and friendly the whole time. He helped to understand my situation, and get me what I needed in a timely fashion (one day turnaround). I would highly recommend working with him for your service needs. I will be going back to see him again. More

I spoke with Momar, he gave me all the necess Frustrated by another dealer on the day, I visited the darcars website, saw a car I liked and called in. I spoke with Momar, he gave me all the necessary information over the phone and invited me for a test drive. He further showed me some other options I did not know of. Price was outside my expectation but he explained without a feel of aggressive sales. Within a short period, I had bought a car with full satisfaction. Several times after my purchase, he followed up to address any questions or issued I may have both on phone and in email. He has been very friendly and responsive in this experience and I have no doubts he is same to all his customers. I will recommend darcars and Momar Jarlo on any day. More

Service Manager Brought our highlander in for service for a scheduled appointment for 1045 on 16 July. Came back at 1300 and David Misoi insisted our vehicle was in the shop and being worked on when it was clearly sitting outside where we left it at 1050. I went to the Service manager. Amir Gasmey who wouldn't even take the time to look away from his computer to look at me while I questioned if he could find out why our car had not been worked in yet. Who in the xxxx runs a SERVICE department ....which deals with customers........duh..... Customer SERVICE and doesn't even treat people with respect??????????? This is the 1st time in our 7 years we have received such horrible service. David explained the issue and we understand it was not his fault.... But the customer service manager needs to be trained in customer service. More

The car salesman that I worked with, Steven Wyatt, was BEYOND patient with me during the process and I am very thankful for how responsive, helpful and kind he was. Likewise their team of financial managers are very responsive, patient and helpful. The financial manager, Kadeem Rogers, who assisted with the purchase of my car answered all of my questions throughly and made the car buying process very easy. I will definitely refer anyone I know looking to buy a car to Steve and Kadeem at DARCARS in Silver Spring! Thanks so much for everything!! More
