Purchasing a new Toyota Tacoma was quite an odyssey for me. I originally started my search for a new truck in the fall of 2009. I settled upon a Tacoma by January of 2010. Once I had figured out which model I was going to purchase, I started price shopping. I ran an online quote through cars.overstock.com, and was given to about a dozen dealers. Of all the dealers, Josh was the only representative that followed up with me on a personal level, and with timely prompt service even after I informed him of my extended time frame for purchase. Our first contact was on Feb 11th. I worked with Josh on pricing and availability of the specific Tacoma model and trim I was interested in, eventually settling on a Double cab, short bed, M/T TRD OR in Timberland Mica. Through the entire process Josh was never short, impatient, or in any way acted as if he believed I may not purchase the vehicle from him and Darcars. Because of this confidence and great level of service (along with a price that was within $600 of the best price I could find in the entire country!), I finalized my purchase April 30th. It has been over 10 years since we have purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Our last attempt was horrible; the sales staff was incompetent and the manager was obnoxious and arrogant. Everyone was great, but trade-in value was too low (traded in a leased Prius that had been leased from same dealer). Their used car dept offered $1000 more for this Prius than the new car dealer. I realized this after looking over sales contract and other estimates. I leased the new Rave4 when Toyota's reputation was at a low point because I believe in their cars and have alwasy had good experiences with them, including with the 2009 Prius. I traded in the Prius becasue it had 19,000 miles in only the first year and it had now been powerful enough in the heavy snows we had this past winter in maryland. I needed 4WD and a larger vehicle. In fact I had traded in a leased Rav4 for the Prius with this dealer in 2009. More

Moses and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful when I drop by. The staff have even taken time to specifically email, or call, me about the various Toyota recalls and quickly answered my questions and concerns about them and which ones even affect my car, then promptly got it fixed.
