We were in the market for a used Camry. We were shopping around and visited a few different dealerships in the area. The Darcars Frederick dealership was by far more customer service oriented and more prof around and visited a few different dealerships in the area. The Darcars Frederick dealership was by far more customer service oriented and more professional than the other dealerships we visited including Darcars' sister location in Silver Spring, which has much to be desired. The two hour drive to Frederick was well worth it. We were so pleased with the experience and our interaction with both Patrick Lockett and Robert Buchanan that we didn't even have an interest in haggling with the price because we felt we chose the car that we wanted, received the customer service that we deserved and overall it was a pleasant car buying experience. We highly recommend Darcars of Frederick and Patrick Lockett. Thank you. More
I made two trips to this dealership. At the first visit I met Sasan. I explained that I would not play games and if he wanted to I would leave. At that visit we were unable to arrive at a price I could live with. No pressure, just facts. At the second visit we were able to come to an agreement. There was no pressure ever. My experience was the best I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. I am 60 and have purchased many in my life. I went looking for a new RAV, b/c Toyota had a terrific lease offer on the RAV base model, and I lease cars for work. Unfortunately, I wanted a loaded RAV, and the offer was, again, on the base model, so lease offer on the RAV base model, and I lease cars for work. Unfortunately, I wanted a loaded RAV, and the offer was, again, on the base model, so my price for what I wanted was coming in a lot higher than what I wanted to pay. Both Tim and Paul worked with me to get the car I wanted, with the options I wanted, within my budget. I'm so happy to be driving a Toyota again! I did try to work with this dealership twice before, and found them somewhat uncooperative and unyielding on price. I'm so glad I tried them one more time! It seems that the staff is a lot more attentive, and will work extra hard to secure your business. It's paying off for them, too--when the lease on our other car is over at the end of Oct., my husband will be in for a new Toyota, too--maybe a Camry or Corolla. I recently purchesed a 2010 Rav-4 from Sales Consultant John Rzeszut whom I had previously purchesed a car from before. He always had a smile on his face and answered all my and my wife's questions we had, from the trade-in to the sales price to the Rav-4 itself. Darcars of Frederick is lucky to have such a person working for them as John. If he is still there in 7-8 years I will be looking him up for a new purchase and will be referring everyone I know to buy from John and Darcars. Mike (Finance)was equally as great as John. He took his time explaining the details of the sales contract, always had a smile on his face and was joking with us the entire time. He helped us with getting our automatic car starter on our old car so we could purchase the Rav-4 that day. In this tough economic time, it is not an easy choice to purchase a new car, but working with people like John and Mike made the decision easy. They made us feel comfortable and did not pressure us into making a decision we were not comfortable with. It is people like this that make car buying easy, and especially enjoyable since this is my very first new car purchase. Wife purchased a car from them during their "slasher sale" this past Saturday. it should have been called a RIP OFF SCAM SALE!!!......Purchased the car Saturday. Drove it home, then today (monday) the sale" this past Saturday. it should have been called a RIP OFF SCAM SALE!!!......Purchased the car Saturday. Drove it home, then today (monday) the wife receives a call from the xxI manager stating that he had a few questions for her. She said she'd be right over as one of the key fob's needed replaced. They said to come right by and it would be taken care of. When she got there, she was told that they made a mistake and that we needed to to pay an additional 5,000.00 dollars!!!!!!!!.....wawawawhat?!?!?!.....While she was digesting what he told her while calling me, they stole the tags off of her new car and allowed her to drive off the lot!......We met up about 10 minutes later and went to the dealership together without the car. They said we had to pay 5,000.00 or return the car regardless of the signed sales contract. We left saying that we needed to talk to an attorney in the morning and had the car towed home. An hour later, I get a call from a Md. State Trooper saying that I would be charged with felony theft unless I agreed to bring the car back. I asked the the Trooper for his name and badge number. He gave me his name but said if I wanted the badge number that I would need to come to the dealership to get it. I asked Trooper Walters for the number for the Frederick, Md. State Police Barracks. He gave it to me and said I had ten minutes to call him back or else he would have another trooper at my house waiting to arrest me....Yes I was shaking.......I called the number Trooper Walters gave me and it was an old, disconnected Frederick County General Info line!!!!!!......I called 411, got the number from them and was transferred to his duty Sgt.......Thank god that guy had some sense......Needless to say, I need to find a good attorney tomorrow to fight these xxxxxxxx....PLEASE HELP...
