We've been looking for a new car for a while now and decided to stop in Darcars and investigate the 2011 Prius model. Chris Santiago was our salesman and he impressed us tremendously with his expansive knowledge of the car details. It was so refreshing to find a salesman that knew his product! He walked us through every inch of the car, went for a test drive with us and showed us other features of this car and before long, we were buying the car! Mike O'Brian was the Finance Manager and helped us seal the deal. What a nice guy!!! We enjoyed just sitting and talking to him! He was also very knowledgeable and completed the paper work with a breeze! He wasn't pushy for all the extra car coverages you can buy, but walked us through the items quickly and painlessly so we could make an informative decision. Buy the time we were finished, Chris had the car completely detailed for us and he gave us the final walk-through of the vehicle; walking us around the car and inspecting every piece of it to ensure we were happy with our delivery. Darcars offers a great floor-plan of inventory for you to choose from and also has a great show-room with refreshments and even a play area for the kids while you discuss your business. Overall I was more than pleased with the service given by Kenneth Rogers. He was very helpful when I called and gave me a prompt appointment. As always he remembered my name and my car. The next day he greeted me as soon as he saw me and was quick and efficient but also warm and friendly. He has always given me the best customer care both at the Rt40 and Buckeystown centers.He even went the extra mile to assist me one day when a friend and I were locked out of our car just down the street. At the time he was just closing up,it was freezing cold outside. He let us in to get warm, finished his worked and then drove us back to my Highlander and waited to make sure the key fob worked for us. I could not ask for better service nor more of a "Good Samaratin". I must add that both Kevin in Sales and Dan in Service have also offered positive experiences in the past. Unfortunately I was suprised to find that even though two left rear brakelights were burned out they had not been replaced. I was advised that it would take sometime and an additional $70.00. Luckily one of my disabled housemates purchased the bulbs for under $8.00 at a store up the street and replaced the bulbs in less than 10 minutes by himself the very next morning. It left me thinking "things that make you go hmmmm..." More

I drove 3 hours each way to purchase a reasonably priced Certified Prius. Other dealeships were hust trying to gain a sale before the end of the month and weren't looking out for me. John is the only person who thoroughly explained the appraisal process. Mike is also very easy to understand. I got a little upset when we finally figured out how we were going to structure the deal and had the terms and payment we wanted, then he pulled out visuals and did a hard sell on the extended warranty. I would feel less upset if he had done this while we were doing our figuring and also told us the contract price of the warranty. Other than that I appreciated his nice follow up phone call the next day. The car seems great with the exception I don't feel it was detailed very well. There were crumbs and dirt in some compartments and the interior needed armoralled. John ran it thru a car wash, but the windows were all spotty. It may be nitpicking, but I don't purchase cars that often. The dealer experience overall is quite good. Other than the warranty issue, I never felt the guys were working me over, no back and forth like other dealeships. I would drive there again for the right deal! More

I purchased my Rav4 from Darcars in 2005 when they were out on Rt 40, and quite honestly, loved the small, homey feeling that dealership had. When they opened their new location on Buckeystown Pike I was c out on Rt 40, and quite honestly, loved the small, homey feeling that dealership had. When they opened their new location on Buckeystown Pike I was concerned that they would get the big car dealership mentality. At first my fears were confirmed but after they had time to adjust to the change, they hired some great service people, namely Nima Mirhadi, and I am once again happy. Nima has brought back that small, homey feeling again by never forgetting who I am, what has or has not been done to my vehicle, being honest about what really needs to be done, and most importantly, by treating me and everyone else (internally and externally) as a part of his personal family. As a woman, it is hard to find a car repair shop that doesn’t think of you as someone who is completely clueless about your vehicle and thinks they can sucker you into this or that. Nima definitely takes that fear away and because of him, I have no doubts when going to the dealership for my repairs. I know he has my back and that means more than words can explain. As for the rest of the dealership, don’t know if things have changed any since I first purchased by Rav4 but I am will certainly place them first of my list when the time comes that I need another Toyota. More
I bought my first Toyota (Corolla) from Darcars in 1996. I bought my current Toyota (Camry), new, in February 2006. Seyed Mirhadi (Nima, as we call him), started taking care of the service details around 20 I bought my current Toyota (Camry), new, in February 2006. Seyed Mirhadi (Nima, as we call him), started taking care of the service details around 2007. Since then I always request him when I call for service. He has always been polite, helpful, and honest. I took my car in last week for routine service and they found a major part which needed to be replaced; it would have cost me over $900. Nima checked my records and found that I was only 17 days past the warranty date. He checked with his supervisor, called me back, and told me that Darcars would take care of it. Nima made a special effort to help me with this unexpected expense. It’s nice to know that he looks out for his customers. More
I had a routine service appointment on March 5, 2011 at 1:30 pm but I went in about an hour early to see if maybe my car could be serviced sooner. I was greeted by a very kind man at my car immediately upon driving into the Service drop-off area who said that it would be no problem. When I went in, Adrian Garcia greeted me and promptly asked if he could help me. In no time, Adrian set me up for an earlier appointment and got my paperwork completed. Everything about Darcars of Frederick service was fantastic. They even offered a courtesy car wash and shuttled me to downtown Frederick while I waited. A simple phone call and they came to pick me up, as well. I am so glad I bought my car at Darcars of Frederick - the service has been excellent from all staff so far...even my boyfriend, who came with me & has a Toyota (from another dealership), said he wishes he bought his car at Darcars of Frederick because the staff is so helpful and friendly. I give Darcars of Frederick and Adrian Garcia, specifically for his kindness on March 5th, an A+ ! More
