Recently purchased car from DarCars--salesman Jesse was awesome!!! Purchased service agreement for oil changes and was told only pay for filters--No Hidden Fees!! 2 months later take car in for oil chang awesome!!! Purchased service agreement for oil changes and was told only pay for filters--No Hidden Fees!! 2 months later take car in for oil change and paint seal. Recieve email mid afternoon with recommended work and estimates--elect to only do oil change and filter (quoted $8.72). Recieve call late afternoon paint man went home early--no problem we can pick up tomorrow. Call in morning from dealership need to pick up... car was ready yesterday?!? Then call stating $42 for oil change, I reminded them reciept said $8 why difference--told they used synthetic oil and cost more. Advised caller we purchased service agreement and only pay for filter unless written quote says different. Then recieved call on cell phone saying pay $42 and that they were cutting us a deal because we should be paying $82. Spoke to finance manager (manager of the day) he said pay $8 and then come in Saturday to work out difference with the general manager. Went to pick up car and associate said pay $42, asked her to contact Tim in Finance because he authorized difference. Then Service Manager (he did not state his name) came out and raised his voice at me, hushed me when I tried to talk and pointed his finger in my face and was very rude. I asked where car was located and attendant said would send someone to get it. Five minutes later service employee drove car around building and squealed the tires of my car right in front of me. There was a chemical soaked shop rag sitting on my daughters child safety seat and the seat was now damp. Car still smells like chemical soaked rag even after removing child safety seat and having to replace it with another. More

We bought our first Toyota from Fredericktown Toyota in December 1987. Since then we bought 6 more Toyotas though they became DARCARS. The reason was very simple - the service provided by the service dept. starting with Mr. Ed Auge who was extermely honest, and would never recommend unnecessary repairs. Unfortunately he decided to retire when the mega conmglomorate took over. Fortunaltely Mr. Steve Farley and Mr. Doug Rice continued his tradition, and we are very lucky to have Mr. Barber at the helm, who is following the honest tradtion of a small dealership. DARCARS needs to realize that Customer Service and Repeat Cuastomers are extermely important and need to acknowledge the service and leadership provided by Mr. Barber, and the service of Mr. Tim ___ who is also in sync with this philosophy, and the reason we go back to them. At one time we tried to deal with 355 Toyota and Fitzerald and it was no contest. Fredericktown Toyota now DRACARS won hands down every time due to the Service Dept. We very much apreciate the extra efforts by Mr Jason Barber and Mr. Tim _ who take the time to explain all the service needs of our vehicles, and take care of our vehicles and us the Customer. Jason did a great job!! I took a day off work specifically to find a more family-friendly vehicle and planned to buy one that day. It was a miserable rainy day but Jason didn't seem to mind. I felt that my trade-in value was at a fair price and they reduced the other vehicle's price as well. I had a quick, painfree experience with Jason. And to top it off, because I am very particular person, I ask Jason if they would be able to detail/shampoo the vehicle again and he gladly accommodated me. I consider myself to be a thrifty kind of guy, so selling me a car is not an easy task. However, I walked into DARCARS TOYOTA in Frederick and was fortunate to meet a salesman named Chris.
