I purchased my car back in May 2014, so please forgive me for the lateness of this review. I was looking to purchase a new car, and after months of research, I decided to go from my dying 2000 Honda Accord to a new 2014 Rx350 F-Sport. Since the new 2015's just hit the market, I was looking to save a little on the new car by going with the '14 model. My brother in law and I called all the Lexus dealerships in Baltimore, and no one had 2014's in stock. So we decided to just go a look at the 2015's. On our way to the Owings Mills location, Andreas called me on my cell phone to tell us he had one in stock. So off to Silver Spring. Andreas was quick to greet us when we arrived and showed us the last of the 2014's he had. The floor model, black on black. Andreas was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the car, from the mechanics, electronics, as well as history of the model. The actual negotiation of the car price was not nearly as bad as I had envisioned. Andreas was patient and was able to explain every number. He was not a high pressure salesman. He wants to make a deal happen, and he will go the extra mile to make that happen. We came with a number, and we were able to hit that number for the car. The process did take some time; but that's another thing with Andreas and his team... he's willing to stay to make you happy. We arrived around 6pm and didn't drive off the lot until 11pm, on a Friday. Both Kenneth Kim and Vincent Gross were also a pleasure to work with. They want to make a deal and they want you to be happy. I drove off the lot completely happy with my experience at this dealership. The service at Lexus of Silver Spring is second to none. I highly recommend this dealership if you want high quality customer service, staff that makes you feel welcome, and sales staff that works with you to make that deal happen. Finally, my brother in law just bought a car from the same team yesterday. We arrived at 7pm and left at just past 1am! Yes, they stayed until past 1am to make this deal happen. They want you to be happy. If you're serious about buying a car, they will make a deal happen. Just come prepared, do your research beforehand... they'll work with you. Thanks Andreas, Kenneth, and Vincent. You guys are great! We promise to come in way earlier next time. More

He made sure my car deal was flawless and provided updates as the car was being certified via phone call, email, text'd or leave me a message. He was prompt on returning my calls and answering any questions I had about the car purchase. Aaron and Kevin (GM) collaborated like Kobe and Shaq these guys are the "A" team of Lexus Silver Spring which in return made this the best car deal of my life. More
Beware!!! I purchased a 2011 rx350 from used dealership. What I was told was an awd, later , after three months, found out was 2wheel drive after getting stuck in the snow. Went back to dealership and was put in a rx 350 what I originally wanted an awd.. After fighting for every penny, I took almost a 10k loss bc of a inexperienced sales person.. Now I am upside down on a Lexus I will probably have to keep forever to get out of the hole.. On top of a that the first purchase it took almost 3 months to get tags and title work done after calling several times. And second purchase was even worse took 4 months to get tags after being force to pay extra for taxes that they don't calculate for during transaction. Very poor customer relations in finance department was told sevral times "I will call you back" and guess what no call back. Finance manager filled me full of crap told me he was working with dmv and my tags magically appeared same day. I spoke with and called finance department probably 12 times, and several times could not speak with anyone bc they were "to busy"when they should have been calling me in the first place telling me what was going on!! Beware dealership is not there for the customer only for themselves!!!! What a terrible and chaotic experience for what should have been a rewarding and exciting purchase... More
I'm buying a brand new lexus from this dealership for bunch of times. Staffs are really friendly and always offer me a reasonable price. They never try to make any deal based on money. Mr Awan was our salesperson and he helped us in very professional manner on every step of the way. He took time in showing the vehicle and the features until we felt comfortable. would recommend this dealership mostly because of Raymond Neal. Ray's attention to our requirements, etc., was extra-ordinary. I went in to purchase a CPO Lexus truck. The salesperson was kind, Ebi. The manager, Justin, left much to be desired. After speaking with him and negotiating a reasonable deal, a different amount appeared on my final paperwork. When I refused to complete the deal, I was referred to the "pre-owned" director, Scott. He proceeded to threaten me into purchasing a vehicle I had not taken possession of by telling me since I did some of the paperwork, I owned the vehicle. The strong-arm tactics included several stories about others they had taken to court and judges forcing customers to purchase vehicles. He told me that they owned my trade and I owned the truck that I went in to purchase, solely because I signed a few papers. I never took possession of the vehicle and never drove it other than a test drive. I also refused to sign over my trade when I realized what was happening. I contacted the dealership under a different name a few days later to inquire about 2 different trucks that I had seen on the lot. The less than knowledgeable sales person tried to convince me that they were the premium models and the same. Having seen both of them, I knew one had features the other did not. I also learned that the dealership purchases vehicles from random auctions, so you don't know where the vehicles came from and can't be certain about their maintenance. I emailed the dealership hierarchy on 2 separate occasions and did not receive a reply from their customer service manager, so clearly they had no interest in resolving the matter. I will NEVER make an attempt to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and would advise others to stay away. Their tactics are not customer centric and their interest is making money for the dealership, not serving the customer. STAY AWAY FROM LEXUS OF SILVER SPRING PRE-OWNED!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET THE TRIP. I should have gone with my gut instinct and took the drive back down to Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly. My terrible experience all started on my first visit. I repeatedly ask myself why did I return and give them my business. My advice to others never purchase under time pressure or sales pressure, for that matter. They all seem to work together and not in the favor of the customer. They make promises that they never have intentions on following through with. I would not recommend anyone here for any future purchases or for their service. I have never purchased a car and not received follow up from my salesperson. I was actually surprised at the treatment that I was given here. Needless to say when I purchase my new Lexus in February, I will not be returning here. They should take a step back and take a look at the level of service that they are providing and realize that consumers have many options on which dealership they choose when purchasing their car.
