My husband and I have purchased over 15 cars in the last two years and I honestly have to say that this by experience was by far the most pleasurable experience that we have ever encountered. Terry was an absolute wonder to work with he made sure that all of the paperwork was done efficiently we didn't have to wait around we got in and out in all of our concerns addressed promptly. The manager James made us feel like we were at home, that we had been lifetime customers and that we were actually friends of everybody that worked there. While we Surely enjoy our new LX 570 I don't know it by next car will be A lexus but I can promise you that either Terry or James will be our salesperson. More
Heard of the famous saying 'Used car salesmen sell snake oil'. I experienced that here. Terrible experience looking to buy a used car. The two James guys are cheats to the core. Let me tell you the car-fax report looks ultra clean but the car would have been in an accident. If you get the car inspected by a good inspector you can find it out. I was lucky in that way that my inspector found it. Now after this, i told them i dont want the car and asked return the deposit back. They said, sure, within a week. But that did not come until 40 days that too with 3 reminders. Ultimately a nice guy in the financial division took care of my return without the intervention of this James Gardner. Lexus boasts of excellent customer service but this James Gardner is exactly the opposite. Dont trust these fellows, especially the used car people here are simply horrible. More
My wife and I brought our first brand new Lexus from Silver Spring and we came back 12 years later to purchase another one. We looked at the pre owned certified Lexus last September 2011 and purchase a Silver Spring and we came back 12 years later to purchase another one. We looked at the pre owned certified Lexus last September 2011 and purchase a 2010 ES 350. So I needed a SUV because the one i had was reaching it last leg. Since we had such a great experience with the pre owned vehicle we purchase, we decided to look at another pre owned certified RX 350. This time the experience was even better once we met Rick Sanchez. He was by far the best sells person i have ever in counter. Let me say this before purchasing a pre owned vehicle i have never brought a used car before. With the very low mileage vechicle he showed us it was a no brainer to purchase a pre owned RX. With the minor imperfection Rick made sure everything was taken care of. He is such a valuable employee to this company. I would not be surprise to see him becoming a general manager one day. Alex the sales manager was very helpful and made sure the deal we got for the RX was fair to all parties. More

OMG, Initially I felt as though working with directly through the dealer would be very costly and my husband I would be in there for at least 5 hours as hostages. However, James as our sales person was very on point for getting directly to our purpose; he knew the questions to ask of us as buyers and was very comfortable to put it all out regardless of what it may have cost him (unselfish). He assured us that he would find what we wanted by first giving us the opportunity to look on our own, giving what we decided on color, seats and accessories. He was realistic on pricing and asked that we be realistic as well, by breaking down the cost of the options we chose compared to what we were willing to spend. Once he was able to break this down, his technique was to physically show us that at some point we could meet at a medium that was in the best interest of customer first and keeping the reputation of the dealership in tact. Once we sealed the deal with James, he released us to Troia and again, I was amazed how the team work of James and Troia complimented each other. She broke down every option in detail, and was able to make my husband and I feel secure with adding the options that we would have not normally been sold on. James and Troia awesome professionalism and team work. I will refer everyone I work with and be able to convince them why your dealership should be their bucket list. It was an exellent experience to buy the car at Lexus Silver Springs. James has 10+ experience at Silver Spring Lexus and he was very straight forward with the dealing process and made it very easy for Silver Springs. Due to the nature of purchasing pre-owned vehicle, there are some parts that had to be searched for and James was proactive in searching for those pieces and making sure that everything is in place. Sally was a very fine person to talk to and she made the financing / closing process (which is quite lengthy and could be boring) very entertaining and easy. She went over the details of the service package and other programs, and went over what would be the most appropriate packages / programs for us to purchase as well. We've purchase a pre-owned certified car, and they were very proud of the cars they are selling and the services they provide. I even took my friend there a couple days after I purchased my own car - my friend ended up buying a pre-owned car from James as well. I would definitely recommend this place and the staff to others. My family and I purchased two used cars from Lexus of Silver Spring on the same day. Our salesperson was James Park. Initially the salesperson and the manager were all smiles; however, after the sales were made the customer service was non-existent. Mr. James Park promised that he would take care of the problems that my family and I identified in the cars but they turned out to be idle promises. It is extremely difficult to get a hold of the salesperson or the manager. I have resorted to asking for other salespeople and then having them transfer me to them as they are avoiding my calls. I am extremely dissapointed in the Lexus brand as it is evident that they do not screen/monitor their employees. During the sale, the employees always brought up the term, "luxury car" or "Luxury dealership" but this place and these people are far from it. One of the cars had a DVD player that did not work and did not have the proper equipment to make if functional. If these poeple ever promise anything, you may want to have it as part of your contract so you can hold them legally liable. I thought that since we were purchasing more than one car, we would have better service. My last ditch effort to get anything that they promised done was to call the Darcars owner and only then were some of the issues taken care of. I am extremely disappointed in Lexus, Darcars, Lexus of Silver Spring, and most of all of James Park and James Gardner. They really need to learn how to treat customers. I will make sure that my family and friends do not make the mistake of ever visiting that place. We are suppose to get a survey from Lexus and I cannot wait to let them know how poorly we were treated. We have been insulted, disrespected, lied to, and taken advantage of. I would recommend anyone that needs a car to go to this dealership. He was also extremely honest. Troia was also experimental to work with. She explained everything to us in so much detail. When we left the dealership we truly felt like we were in good hands. Alex the manager was also great! He knew we were serious and gave us the best possible deal. Was offered a price on the car, but the finance person charged me the original price. I've tried to change this to no avail. I believe that I was cheated.
