We arrived as scheduled and the car we were interested in was ready for test drive. We did not experience any pressure...beyond trying to figure out all the amazing tech these new cars offer - haha! Our salesperson, James was wonderful to work with. He had recently joined the team at DARCARS Lexus of Silver Spring, so he was assisted by Kieran to process our contract. Kieran was absolutely amazing. Kieran was thoughtful, incredibly helpful, very attentive and so genuine in assisting us from start to finish. In addition, New Car Sales Manager, Wesley was often involved ensuring our transaction was progressing smoothly, offering assistant, and checking in frequently. Kieran spent a great deal of time checking us out on the vehicle – getting the Lexus app set up and going over some of the important features. He was so reassuring, patient and extended his services to us in the future at any time should we need additional help with the vast tech these new vehicles possess!! Our new car is beautiful...simply awesome...but we are so incredibly impressed and pleased with the amazing level of customer service provided to us during this purchase. They were extremely responsive to our needs and reassured us repeatedly, that they were available at any time to assist – it was genuine, and we know they will always be there to support us. We highly recommend DARCARS Lexus of Silver Spring...AMAZING customer support and extremely outstanding level of service!! More
Major miscommunication across the sales department at Lexus of Silver Spring. Contacted the dealership Monday and told them I was very serious about a specific car and would make an appointment with them Lexus of Silver Spring. Contacted the dealership Monday and told them I was very serious about a specific car and would make an appointment with them once I nailed down a good time since I'm coming from another state. Next day I scheduled an appointment for Friday and went through all the trade in options for my car and would finalize the financing in person at my appointment. Today comes time for the appointment and Emily Orellana in digital support who I have been dealing with from the beginning, texts me to confirm my appointment. I confirm the appointment with her and 15 minutes later she tells me the car has sold. I don't understand how in 15 minutes a car can suddenly be sold when the sales department was just confirming my appointment with me. I spoke to Yosef (who I can't find exists as a team memeber on their website anywhere) on the phone who I was supposed to have the appointment with and he didn't seem to know that I had an appointment with him and didn't care. He said they don't reserve cars from appointments but then proceeds to tell me that someone else already had an appointment for the car and pre-financed so they could come in and pick up the car. I was never informed this was an option that I needed to do to secure the car further or I would have jumped to do the financing ahead of time to secure the car but it sounds like even when I scheduled the appointment and was told the car was available it was already someone else's car. I would have glaldy offered to pay more than asking for the car to secure the deal had I been informed anyone else was looking at the car. Yosef said Emily must not have known there was already a deal in the works even though she works in customer service and was the main contact for me the entire time related to this specific car. This dealership wasted my time and failed to professionally communicate to prevent such a thing from happening and it was clear that they don't care. Would not recommend trying to do business with them. More
