I purchased a Toyota vehicle from this dealer this time last year. I have to say that experience good. The salesperson was very helpful and there was an issue with my insurance and the sales manager helpe last year. I have to say that experience good. Now perhaps there was some communication issues with the sales department. When I purchased the care I got a nice warranty and service package as well. Additionally I purchased the Darcars assurance. They sold me on it, telling me all the benefits and perks etc. they even discounted it. I was told that I would be able to get a loaner car, which was important to me because I don’t live near the dealer. They also talked up this annual reconditioning plan as a great value……! So I let me guard down and went with it. Again the deal was good for the vehicle and they were really nice and helpful. Because it was such a good experience with the sale We were planning to purchase a Lexus later this year from them. My first issue was when I scheduled my first service and was told that I wasn’t eligible for a loaner because they changed their policy which was quite confusing since these were questions I asked and was assured of. So I canceled my appointment and stayed local to a Toyota dealer 4 min from my home. I mentioned that I was a little upset that I was promised something and wasn’t getting it but no big deal. Fast forward my annual detail was coming up and my oil change as well. I figured I would kill two birds with one stone. I made the appointment online which was a great process. But I wanted to ask about some additional services. So when I called and spoke to someone prior to my appointment to ask some questions, it was really a difficult conversation, almost like they didn’t want to help me. But I just said forgot it and had some additionally work done by my Own mechanic. When I brought the car in this morning. The service person wasn’t bad however I didn’t feel valued as a customer. I watched how the next service person greeted the gentleman behind me and again my rep wasn’t bad but not as welcoming. Maybe he wasn’t a morning person I don’t know. But I pushed on. Short conversation and I was out of there. They finished the car in a few hours and I came back up to pick it up. Now I have worked on cars my whole life as a stress reliever. Mechanically as well cosmetically but I’m not young anymore. My first impression of this detail was subpar at best. There were streaks on most of the glass, dash and kick panels. The seats had drip marks and there was lint on all the surfaces, probably my from the terry clothes used. This really reminded me of what I get at my local car wash. Again if it was just a wash it was ok guess but to sell this as a reconditioning or detail is ridiculous. Needless to say getting rides back and forth to take and pick up the car for a basic car wash makes absolutely no sense. I regret paying extra for this because to Me it is worthless. I probably will take it to a professional detailer this weekend because my wife and I had an anniversary trip planned so I wanted to the car basically like new. All this to say I’m disappointed and I would possibly still purchase a new car from Darcars Mt Kisco Lexus but would be reluctant to service it here especially when other dealers are closer and the value wasn’t there for me. This was my experience, others might have better experiences and that’s great but, professionally any negative experience is an opportunity to improve as first impressions are everything. My family I have been driving Acura’s for at least the last 25-30 years so my bar has been set with Acura of Westchester and I had high expectations for Mt Kisco Lexus however there were things that need to be addressed. I did appreciate the refreshments and a really clean and nice showroom and service area. The receptionist was great as well. Thank you for listening. More

The experience here is consistently excellent- I have only had positive experiences: accurate diagnosis, free accurate estimates, accommodate customers with loaner when available and if waiting they work very hard to complete work thoroughly and accurately, provide free multi-point inspection to make sure vehicle is safe and to predict what may be needed for next service, and all with excellent accommodating customer service and professionalism.
