Condescending service We bought our Lexus RX 350 from Lexus of englewood with no issues, worked with Dick Shore, who was fantastic. This negative review is for the service department, not sales. Brought the Lexus in for the complimentary 5k service. Front desk staff not welcoming or helpful, when I checked in all she said to me was “sit down and someone will talk to you, without telling me where I could sit or why and who was going to talk to me. After waiting almost 15 minutes and no one coming to talk to me, I came back to the front desk to ask her what I was waiting for. To which she did NOT respond and just glared at me. Another gentlemen came and assisted (don’t know his name but he was the same man who took the car when I first drove it in. Things got worst. The service guy I was assigned to was condescending and rude. When I came to his door with this other gentlemen, he rudely said he wasn’t ready for me but I could sit down in his office. He did not stand up or greet me, no handshake nothing. He was still typing something on his computer. Never looked up at me. Then he asked me why I came and I told him the 5k service and “oil change”. He then looked at me, condescendingly said “oh you’re not getting an oil change” then looked at his computer again. At this point I thought I was being pranked! He was so unprofessional. Then he did not speak to me for another 5 minutes, it was awkward so I said ok...then what service are you doing on the car? He says to me hold on and I’ll tell you and again, looked at me with a smirk. Again I waited for him to finish typing. Finally he pulls up my car and tells me what services as quickly as he can, then sends me out to wait. The wait was an hour and a half, a nice lady came to check on me, and I asked her the status of my car. She asked the service guy, who then came out and said “oh your cars been done” while chomping On his mouth full of food. He then took me to the desk to check out, gives me his card, and says “I hope you’ll give me the highest rating for my service”. I said nothing and only stared at him in disbelief. More
