I have carefully reviewed Mr. Shore's previous reviews to ensure they corresponded to my experience. I pick up my car two weeks ago, and just received a refund of my refundabile deposit. I am still missing a second key, and no information on my plates and registration. I call, email and do not get a response. I have been a customer of Lexus of Englewood for over 20 years, and never received this kind or treatment. It appears things have go downhill since Dacar has taken over. More
Holy cow! I owned a sienna for years, for all the obvious reasons.,i stepped up to a 2013 Lexus rx350. Boy was it nice! But more importantly, the service manager Juan Rodriguez was a dream come true. As a fatther who assisted his son in buying a quaiity car and not having the experience in some time. I was introduce to our salesmen James Adamo. Went car shopping and test drove a 2020 NX; enjoyed my experience but I was early in my shopping and still wanted to compare the NX to the X1 or X2. I told the salesman and he kept asking me if I would bu experience but I was early in my shopping and still wanted to compare the NX to the X1 or X2. I told the salesman and he kept asking me if I would buy today if he gave me a great offer. I said, no, there's no way I'm walking into a dealership on the first day and buying the first car I see. I'm too old to be making those types of decisions. Anyway, I asked if he would run me some numbers -- specifically finance vs. lease so I could have something to compare with the BMW and make an informed decision. He said sure. Went upstairs. Minutes later, he comes down with Joe Grawehr (or something like that) and Joe proceeds to tell me that if I'm not buying a car today, they won't give me an estimate. I thought it was ridiculous -- and started to voice my opinion with Billy the salesman, then it occurred to me that they're not the only dealership in Jersey, nor are they the only Lexus dealership in Jersey. So, i bid Billy goodbye and went over to BMW of Tenafly and Benzel-Busch (both in Englewood). Apparently Joe didn't think my business was worth running some numbers and printing them out -- maybe it's because I wasn't dressed nice enough or maybe it was my faux loc hairstyle that led him to believe that I didn't matter and wasn't worth 2-4 pieces of paper filled with an estimate of what to expect to pay if I went with Lexus. All in all---I'm definitely NEVER buying even "air" from DARCARS Lexus because of Joe Joe. If I do decide to go with Lexus -- I will be trying out Dave Strum or Aymen at DARCARS Lexus of Mt Kiscoe -- haven't met them but even via email they have shown true courtesy and made me feel like I matter as a human being. So to recap -- DARCARS Lexus of Englewood (especially Joe) - BAD! BMW of Tenafly/Euna Wilson - GOOD! Benzel-Busch Mercedes Benz - GOOD! DARCARS Lexus of Mt. Kisco - Probably Good!! :) More

Worse car buying experience ever. Refused to give a quote on a 2020 RX 350 because we were not committing that day. I told the sales person I need until Monday to decide. My experience was overall great until I met with Jeff in finance. He was very rude and condescending. As a first time car buyer I was very unimpressed and rather disappointed in his behavior.
