I purchased a new Lexus GX 550 from DARCARS Lexus of Englewood in late May 2025. I was driving with my wife and toddler at the time and had to guide the vehicle to the roadside manually. Roadside Assistance failed completely. We were told we’d need to pay for a tow since we were just outside a 40-mile radius. No loaner, no hotel, no help. We were stranded—and then asked to complete a satisfaction survey. We canceled our trip and returned to NYC. DARCARS provided a loaner, and during normal use, a piece of trim fell off. We were later billed $600 for that missing trim. There was no inspection before or after the loaner, and we dispute the charge entirely. I emailed my salesperson with my concerns—he never replied to the message. He did later call me but was unable to offer anything tangible to address the situation or make things right. Now, more than 60 days later, Lexus has told us “there is nothing they can do.” The vehicle still behaves unpredictably (e.g., cruise control issues, random seat heater activation), and we’ve only driven ~700 miles since delivery. We no longer trust the vehicle—or this dealership. The sales experience was misleading, the service experience dismissive, and the follow-up absent. Avoid DARCARS Lexus of Englewood if you expect accountability, safety, or professionalism. More
