Missed the mark of excellence Purchased a 09 rx with only 18k miles. Car is gorgeous as you would expect. I live 5 hrs away. Sales man Joe K was a good guy to deal with. I would Purchased a 09 rx with only 18k miles. Car is gorgeous as you would expect. I live 5 hrs away. Sales man Joe K was a good guy to deal with. I would work with him again. I put deposit on car and went for test drive. All good except tire pressure light was on. Was told would be fixed when I came back to pick up car. I discovered the car had a recall for a oil line problem I notified the service person and this recall was done prior to pick up. When I got the car the tire light was off. Driving home the light Came on hour later. Turns out the batteries in the sensors are failed/failing. Cost to replace about 900. This should have been caught prior to sale of the car. I worked with Lexus corporate to try to resolve locally and they have authorized for one of the 5 sensors to be replaced since the other 4 are not yet failed. I was promised all weather mats which did arrive at my house. I think if I lived locally I may have had better service under the 15 day warranty. The price of car was fair for all and I am very happy with it. Would have been perfect if they fixed the failing sensors prior to selling the car. Sad a small thing like this promulgated negative situation. given the distance from where I live I would have expected at the very least Lexus of englewood sending me the sensors where I would be willing to pay the labor here. More

Excellent Was on vacation and hit a pothole blowing a front tire I was worried about having to drive it back to Rhode Island like that but thankfully my road ha Was on vacation and hit a pothole blowing a front tire I was worried about having to drive it back to Rhode Island like that but thankfully my road hazard insurance through Lexus financial had me covered dropped off the car they ordered my tire and picked her up later that afternoon.
