Upon arrival at Fairfax Honda, we were met by Kaan Tasar, the sales representative who had interacted with my wife on a prior visit. The subsequent test drive of the CRV was conducted without issue, with the vehicle meeting all expectations. We were ready to buy so Kaan worked up a price sheet. Reviewing the price sheet I noticed that it included option packages for wheel locks, all-weather mats, mud guards, and a paint protectant. I explained I did not want those options and I was very clear those options were of no value to me. I eventually understood that because of the current competitive market conditions, some dealerships add a generic “market value” up-charge. Where Fairfax Honda wants to at least try to provide some value to the consumer by including some additional products and services. There was some confusion regarding the delivery of the additional products and services and the all cash purchase. After speaking with Kursad Deringdag, the general sales manager, all issues were satisfactorily resolved. Fairfax Honda was patient and professional with me and took the time to help me understand.
