I belong to a family who believe so much in Honda cars. In our country we own a Honda City and a CR-V. When we were in California, we bought a Honda Civic. Before we left San Jose CA, somebody recommended Honda of Bowie to service our Honda Civic. So, after a long drive from the west to the east, we went to Honda of Bowie for a car check. True! The service is great! We met Travis Jenkins, a young energetic guy who is so helpful and patient. He toured us around. I told him that I will go back to buy a vehicle once I earned the courage and confidence to drive. I did! I walked in last March 2010 and looked for Travis. He helped me find a certified 2006 red CR-V. After 4 months, I got tired looking at my red CR-V so I called Travis and told him to look for a gold CR-V bearing the same model. He found one for me in August 2010. I am impressed with his personality. He is so professional, hard-working and very efficient. He always gives me what I want. Four months passed and I called Travis to rive so I got myself a certified 2006 CR-V last March 2010. After 4 months, I called Travis again and told him that I am decided to own a brand new 2011 CR-V and told him everything I wanted from the vehicle color, specification to documentation. He did! The finance manager (Hans Gibbs) worked so fast, too. I walked in, signed, and drove off in a new 2011 CR-V. Great, fast experience. I purchased the vehicle to then ship it out of state. The dealership helped me by arranging the shipping for me to get a better rate. I was a difficult customer. I had quotes from several dealerships, Honda and Toyota, and had already visited two other Honda dealerships in the area. Honda of Bowie was quick on a quote, up front, frien dealerships, Honda and Toyota, and had already visited two other Honda dealerships in the area. Honda of Bowie was quick on a quote, up front, friendly, and very responsive. When I received a lower quote elsewhere, one which another Honda dealership (with a recent Presidential award rating) mocked as impossible, Honda of Bowie matched it and went beyond. In short, they beat the best price available and then went further. They were also very professional. They didn't bad mouth other dealerships, like some did, rather they focused on giving me the best deal and best answers right away. They didn't worry about playing games, or worry about what others were doing. Instead, they focused on my concerns, from the price to the color to the trade-in, and made it a completely hassle-free experience. I'd still do my homework in advance, but I'd save myself the trip to other dealerships next time and go to Honda of Bowie. All-around excellent performance. More

I went in knowing which car I wanted (pre-owned). I was helped as soon as I pulled up and immediately taken on a test drive. I am not a new-car buying kinda guy, by any sort of the imagination. When my old car, a Chrysler Concorde, needed a new transmission for the second time, I began researching new vehicles. This was due in part to frustrations with my very old car (a 1994). The rest was due to the persuasive, kind, and low-pressure sales(wo)manship of one young lady, Lauren Hehn, at Honda of Bowie. She treated me like one of her good friends, and she backed up her claims of engineering perfection with evidence like the consistently top-notch crash-test ratings that Honda's earn. I like how she taught me absolutely everything I wanted to know about my new Honda Accord EX-L with Navigation. I feel so satisfied with my experience at Honda of Bowie that I am telling all of my family, friends, neighbors, etc. and I hope you will, in turn, consider going there for your next car purchase. They even have an impressive number of used cars, many of them Hondas. This experience has changed my mind of what buying a new car should be like. I no longer think of the stereotypical greasy scam artist when I conjure up a picture of a car salesperson. I think of a friendly, young, good listener who is willing to bend over backwards to help me buy the car I want. Thank you, Lauren! More
