I used the Costco car buying program to get a 2013 Honda, and the program suggested Honda of Bowie. The overall impression was excellent as the staff was friendly, and Richard Yancey was very helpful in get and the program suggested Honda of Bowie. The overall impression was excellent as the staff was friendly, and Richard Yancey was very helpful in getting me in a car to test drive and finding the color car I wanted. He had to get it from another dealer. The only two missteps were the failure to give me my old tags on the trade in (they mailed them to me), which delayed me in turning in the tags to DMV, and failure to give me two keys to the car. I got carpet treatment two weeks after buying the car, and they failed to tell me the tags were in. So I had to come back the next day. Well, I think Richard tried to tell me they were in, but I didn't understand. Anyway, when treating the fabric, they also cut another key for me. So, it was not a big deal, but did lead to me giving them an overall 4, rather than a 5. Because the fabric treatment took a few hours, the dealer gave me a loaner car. I would recommend the dealer to anyone looking for a Honda via the Costco program or just walking in the door. For me, the best things about the Costco program were the price of the car and the lack of having to haggle. Richard was very professional and helpful. And the car from the other dealer had some extras on it for which they did not charge me (wheel locks and door guards). Because they are located 25 miles from my home, I probably would go to another dealer for oil changes. More

Kevin Kreamer himself was excellent when we purchased our 2013 Honda Accord Touring on the evening of 2/23/13. We purchased a brand new 2011 Honda CR-V two years ago. The only negative I have is for marketing & management. We thought that the Premium Care For Life plan good on "ANY vehicle purchase at no additional cost, WITH exclusions" is quite misleading and confusing on the front webpage. It really did lead us to believe that it was included in our purchase "with no additional cost" until we were told that it does not apply to our internet manager price quote. We had to sign a waiver or pay for it. Long story short, we feel the front page advertising is an oxymoron. "ANY vehicle purchase at no additional cost, WITH exclusions?" This is certainly "an exclusive advertising oxymoron, from a Honda Dealer like no other." Indeed, "only Honda of Bowie does it!" This puts a bittersweet sour taste in our overall experience. We believe it should be included in our new vehicle purchase "at no additional cost." My suggestion is for Honda of Bowie to stop saying that the Premium Care For Life plan is "good on ANY vehicle purchase at no additional cost," on the internet if there are exclusions. Especially when Internet price quotes are excluded. We did not get it on our 2011. And we certainly did not get it on our 2013. With warm regards, C. Hsu More

I wanted a new car and had been given the run around at two different car dealers, I called Honda of Bowie Mr Elliott Bournne told me come and pick out my car. When I got there Stephanie Dewey ask me what I was looking for I told her the car I wanted and she went out of her way to make me happy. Even finance was great, I told Mr. Williams what I could afford to pay there was no pressure my payments are what I wanted and I am happy in my new car. More
