The Car Wash is Joke and the Customer Service is Awful! 1) I went in to Honda of Bowie for service today and was not even greeted by 1 of the 4 employees in the garage area so I figured it was best to go in 1) I went in to Honda of Bowie for service today and was not even greeted by 1 of the 4 employees in the garage area so I figured it was best to go inside and get a manager since I was irate about the continued service problems of my car anyway. 2) How does HoB claim they are #1? What exactly are they #1 of!?!? I hate to see #2 or #3. Maybe they are 1 of 1. 3) The other day I dropped it off for service and requested the car wash since it was included in my original purchase. At first glance the wash looked great, but then when I went to put something in the trunk I noticed the back was dirty and smudged! 4) Do not fall for their lifetime car washes and shuttle service. The shuttles only go about 10 miles away so if you live north of Crofton, you need to find your own ride. 5) On a separate day for more service (yep, you guessed it - I bought a brand new car from them with problems from the get-go!), the service guy who greeted me said if they repaired my car the problem would persist anyway. Can you believe it? And he said there were no loaner vehicles available and there was no telling when there would be. AND he said there was just no way to guarantee me a ride so he basically said they couldn't help so I drove off, but went inside the main area. After speaking with 2 separate people, I was finally told that they could provide me an Enterprise rental at no cost and they weren't sure why I was told otherwise! 6) During that same visit, the GM practically ignored my ongoing issue and even had me test driving a brand new car rather than repairing my problem! I almost fell for that mess until I demanded my car needed to be fixed. 7) After the most recent service, I received a phone call just making sure that my experience was excellent. I think I threw her off because I said it was horrible. She said a manager would be calling me within a day or two. A month later and I'm still waiting on that phone call. 8) I gave them a really bad review when this all started and requested to be contacted. I haven't heard a thing yet. 9) Don't bother with Honda of Bowie. Ever. More
See Jessica Heureaux for your Honda If you are in the market for a Honda automobile you owe it to yourself to see Jessica Heureaux and her team members at Honda of Bowie. Last weekend w If you are in the market for a Honda automobile you owe it to yourself to see Jessica Heureaux and her team members at Honda of Bowie. Last weekend we purchased a Honda CRV from Jessica (our 3rd pre owned certified from Honda of Bowie) and last evening my daughter and son in law purchased a Honda Pilot from her. We all found Jessica a pleasure to work with, she was very knowledgeable about the Honda product line, she patiently answered ALL of our (MANY) questions, worked with us on our trade in, helped us explore options to find the right vehicle to fit our needs (we considered new and certified) and most importantly our budget. With the family purchasing four vehicles from Honda of Bowie we've found a good selection to chose from, their pricing competitive, and a friendly atmosphere. The "Care for Life" package and the folks in the service department will take good care of your Honda maintenance needs. Working with Jessica on two vehicles in the past week was truly a pleasure. She provided us with all the information about the choices we had and allowed us to make the decision that best fit our needs. If you are looking for a Honda go see Jessica at Honda of Bowie. More

Bowie was not as low as Rosenthal in VA. however Rosenthal did not offer free oil changes, diagnostics, car washes, or shuttle service for the life of the car. I asked if they could beat Rosenthal's price and to get back to me. The next day Bowie offered me a lower price than Rosenthal and included free oil changes, diagnostics, car washes, or shuttle service for the life of the car. Qualified for 1.9% financing too. Bought the car that night. No pressure and very accommodating. More
Smooth purchase, rocky transfer of tags Although the car purchasing process was smooth, this dealer did not correctly transfer my tags to my newly purchased vehicle as they said they would. Although the car purchasing process was smooth, this dealer did not correctly transfer my tags to my newly purchased vehicle as they said they would. Subsequently, my car was towed and I was ticketed for having tags that were registered to another vehicle. I've attempted to reach out to the dealership to discuss, but have not heard back to date. Deceptive sales practices, avoid dealer!!! Can you say "Bait and Switch"? ... After coordinating with a Honda of Bowie sales representative (Nicole Thomas) to visit the dealership to test drive Can you say "Bait and Switch"? ... After coordinating with a Honda of Bowie sales representative (Nicole Thomas) to visit the dealership to test drive a specific used vehicle listed in inventory (and still listed in inventory as I write this review), I made a long trip to our appointment. Ms. Thomas welcomed me, took all of my information, and questioned why I would not be interested in a newer vehicle before our scheduled test drive. She left to retrieve the vehicle, only to come back and announce "The vehicle was just sold (with emphasis on "just"). Would you be interested in looking at another vehicle?". ... I am a long-time Honda customer. I am disappointed that Honda allows Honda of Bowie to operate given their deceptive sales practices. ... I highly recommend you not waste your time with this dealership. You may find yourself completely disappointed with their lack of business ethics as I did. More

Great dealership Awesome experience, Sales person Wardell Mitchell was the best, no pressure and delivered what was promised. Previously went to Honda of Annapolis bec Awesome experience, Sales person Wardell Mitchell was the best, no pressure and delivered what was promised. Previously went to Honda of Annapolis because they sent me a wonderful offer, after they gave us the runaround and would not honor the offer they sent me, we went to Honda of Bowie and meet Wardell. Explained what happened, handed him the offer that Annapolis reneged on, Wardell told us no problem and delivered. Honda of Bowie honored the offer no questions asked, ironic thing about the whole transaction is that Bowie did not have the vehicle on there lot that we wanted, so guess where they pulled it from, that's right Annapolis. So Annapolis losses a sale and vehicle, but they do gain a complaint filed with TrueCar and USAA. More
A-One Experience I visited Honda of Bowie on Wed., 3-26-14. I went in "just to get advice" and "look around". I was nervous about trading and buying a new car. Delp I visited Honda of Bowie on Wed., 3-26-14. I went in "just to get advice" and "look around". I was nervous about trading and buying a new car. Delphine greeted me with the best smile! I must admit I have a hard time deciding on things and I obsess over major choices I have to make. Delphine was patient, positive, and knowledgeable about the buying and trading process. So much so, I decided to make a deal on a 2014 Honda Accord and trade in my Honda Civic that night. There was no pressure. I walked away believing that "I made the right choices".The finance process was seamless as well. Kip and Rajni in finance made the finance process seamless. I had heard radio commercials and testimonials about how GREAT Honda of Bowie is -- they are T-R-U-E! I would definitely recommend and accompany any friend. co-worker and family member to Honda of Bowie. Great job Team. More
Called Honda of Bowie to get things fixed since I have Called Honda of Bowie to get things fixed since I have extended warranty. I also mentioned they could do the Maintence package that was verbally r Called Honda of Bowie to get things fixed since I have extended warranty. I also mentioned they could do the Maintence package that was verbally recommended on my last visit as long as it was under warranty. Brought van in, dealt with the assistant service manager, went over what we discussed on phone. Speaker blown, doors won't lock or unlock with keyless entry, there was a ticking sound (Honda put a new engine in it last year because we had so many problems with it, it's a Lemon) and the DVD player wasn't working right, plus the tire light kept coming on and off and to do the Maintence if it was also included under warranty. He entered it in his hand held computer, pointed and read all the things that were to be done, never mentioned money, never saw a dollar sign. He intentionally kept the screen at a certain place that only showed the wording review of work to be done. I said ok, and this is all under extended warranty? He said yes, I signed. He called me later that night left a voicemail to call him back I was putting my kids to bed, I called the next morning. He was not working that day. I asked status of my van, said I would get a call back. Never did. Called again was told it would be ready the next morning. Go to pick up van. 500 dollar charge. I said I was told it was under warranty. Manager came..we went back and forth about he said she said. I said call the assistant service manager, he lied to me. He called him, I got on the phone said he did sneaky business and said he lied to my FACE taking advantage of a woman, he YELLED at me saying the prices were there on the screen. He showed me what he typed up, not the actual HARD COPY he sneakily got my signature by saying you consent these things to be done? No prices!!!!! I did ask the employee why he called me and left that voicemail, he said it was to go over warranty info. Interesting!!!!!! Manager took phone from me and said he was calling for you to authorize another repair. I NEVER authorized the repair and Honda did it anyway. If this sales associate dishonestly authorized something without me knowing, surely he was capable of lieing to me in the first place. The manager did ask the employee why he authorized extra services without my permission and his answer was "she seemed so adamant about having her the maintenance done" Lie. The Manager refunded that money knowing they were in the wrong, bringing the bill to 300 said it was the best he could do. BEST? WHAT THEY DID WAS ILLEGAL, don't act like your doing me a favor!! He said I could not have my van unless that was paid. The money is not the issue. It's the unethical way that associate dealt with me, and tried to put a spin that my whole purpose was to get the mechanical Maintence done when it was NOT. The employee is a liar and misrepresents the establishment. The manager told The assistant service manager on the phone "you see what's going on here" insinuating I wanted work done for free. Those mechanics work hard, I have no problem paying for services rendered under honest conditions. Not a scummy tactic that possibly ups his commission. The 300 was paid but again, my point is they lied and said I approved extra services over the phone when I did not. So doesn't that make him capable of being a dishonest person? My father had to come (since it is a company van) and said to the manager "so your holding this van hostage until I pay?" The manager said yes. The manager told his employees "under no circumstances give this woman her keys" my issue is with this sales associate and his manager backing up a outright lie. I CALLED BECAUSE MY DOORS WOULD NOT LOCK, a speaker was blown, the DVD player was not working right, the tire light and a ticking sound. The Maintence package was not a priority, but if it was covered then..sure, do it. The manager said none of mechanical work done to the van are covered by warranty in most places. Insinuating I should of known. Again, taking advantage of a woman AND perhaps A COMMISSION SCAM by the sales associate? The cashier, Heather S. refused to give her last name in case this issue went to small claims court as a witness that the manager agreed he was holding my vehicle hostage. She was very disrespectful. That staff sticks together in a very scary way. I forwarded this to the BBB and corporate offices. Honda of Bowie employs a person ( sounds like people from reviews I read) that lie, then turn it on you to make you seem like the liar. So what you have my signature, it was obtained under FALSE pretenses. More
