Because I was making a major transition from a luxury car to a mini-van and making this transition with cash, I was very particular and inquisitive about who I'd be purchasing my vehicle from. I finalized my decision to buy an Odyssey on Mother's Day and between then and last Saturday I visited Brown's, Pohanka, Autonation, College Park, and Fairfax Honda. I had also spoke to car salesman from five additional dealerships. At the end of the day, everyone has the same product for about the same price, however, the reason I purchased from Bowie was because of Mr. Edwards professionalism, extensive knowledge, and follow through. He was straight forward and played none of the sales games that I experienced with others. From the time I called at 9:00am on Saturday morning to the time I left the dealership at 6:30pm, Mr. Edwards gave great customer service and even followed up with a courtesy call. I looked at no less than 10 vehicles in the past two weeks but it was not until I met with Mr. Edwards that I learned key features of this marvelous vehicle, including the under hood features, especially the fact that the engine drops down in case of a head on collision and in case of a side impact the impact is dispersed. I truly drove away feeling less sad about giving up my "cool" because he truly gave me the facts that confirmed that I was doing the right thing for my family. Mr. Edwards is a model salesperson and I appreciate you for having such an intelligent, well-versed, personable, passionate, and committed young man on your team. I had the pleasure of working with Elliot and Lionel and even though I had to wait quite some time to actually find the car I wanted, they kept me informed and calmed through the process.
