This was, by far, the worst experience of my life in dealing with ANY service department...and I have owned 15 cars in the past 30 years. The only saving aspect of this disastrous experience was the immediate, strong and professional response from the Vice President of Operations, Ms. Darvish. An inspiring and strong young lady who clearly respects customers and understands service. As for the Service "technician," Mr. Hassan, he is a pompous, ignorant man who hid behind the telephone and hung up when I challenged his veracity and decency. HIs demeanor changed when I showed up for a face-to-face...but his immediate supervisor was hardly different. Again, the real change came when I contacted Ms. Tammy Darvish. It is only because of her that I would ever consider returning to DARCARS. Evidently, judging these characters in the service department against the backdrop of such a professional upper management would be unfair so, their contemptuos behavior towards customers is somewhat overshadowed by their boss' actions to save the day. I just bouhgt a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Dar Cars in Rockville, MD. Muhammad Awan was my sales associate and I had the best experience ever buying a new vehicle. Drove from York, PA to purchase a 2012 VW CC. I did a lot of the negotiating over the phone/e-mail with Brent, and he was true to his word. The sales person, Dave, was very friendly and did what he could to make it a good experience. The downside is that it took over three hours to draft paperwork, nevermind the fact that the dealership didn't have to do any of the financing as I provided a blank check through my Credit Union. Once the paperwork was signed, it took another two hours to have a temporary title printed. Another area of contention was having a second key for the vehicle I was purchasing. I asked three times to three different people about a We Owe for a second key and did not receive this in writing. After following up with Brent several times, he just simply made excuses for not getting the key instead of just ordering it. I expected to receive the key once my trade had been sold - this has not happened. The ironic thing is that I heard a customer in the lobby say that she was angry that Darcars didn't keep their word after the sale and that she had wished she had got a We Owe. Buyer beware. The price and selection of the used vehicles was excellent. However, if you are looking for a customer oriented dealer who values your business - go elsewhere. More

In March I purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from DARCARS of Rockville. This dealership was more than an hour and a half away from my home and it was not the first dealership that I visited. Nonetheless, I decided to purchase my car through them after my very first telephone inquiry to Santiago. He was willing to answer all of my questions and quote me a price by phone. Many dealerships will not quote prices over the phone and try to convince you to come in to the dealership. The price I was quoted from DARCARS beat every one of the more than 10 dealerships I contacted (in MD and several surrounding states),as well as the Costco auto-buying program. From beginning to end, I was impressed with the level of honesty and integrity in the staff that I dealt with. There were no games, no gimmicks, no nonsense,no surprises -- nothing but outstanding customer service. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. The financing I was quoted was the financing I received. Santiago went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied. If the reliability of the Jeep product comes anywhere close to the level of service I received, I will not hesitate to return to DARCARS for my next purchase. I highly recommend this dealership. More

I have to admit that purchasing a car at DARCARS Rockville with sales professionals such as yours was one of the most gratifying experiences I have had. Our salesperson Santiago Blanco took his time with us and was patient - to be sure that I got the right car for my needs. The finance department was a pleasure to deal with as well. I never felt pressured. He took me through the financial contract and extended warranty portion, with expert care and professionalism. I can honestly say that I would not hesitate to return to DARCARS Rockville to purchase another vehicle in the future. I have enjoyed getting to know the dealership and the associates. Now that I have had my vehicle for a few days and I am convinced that I not only made the right decision about my vehicle, but about the dealership as well. I drove all the way from Raleigh Durham NC, for a truck i was told was in great condition, to only find when i get there after a test drive a Truck with a busted rear end and they still tried to sell it to m was told was in great condition, to only find when i get there after a test drive a Truck with a busted rear end and they still tried to sell it to me 22.5k. I test drove the truck heard a load roaring noise, and asked Brent Sowler the sales manager to ride with me to here the noise, and he made an excuse not go on a test ride with me, then Santiago came over the GM, and asked if he would take the truck for a test drive with me and declined also. They also would not take the truck to their sister store 5 minutes away to get the toyota tundra checked out. This is the respect and customer service I got after driving 4.5 hours in less that good weather conditions. I would not recommend any one to buy a car from these people. The initial sales rep on the deal was Tressa, brent & Carmen the GM and i spoke to her once when I got there and then she ran away once things weren't going well and left me high and dry as a customer. There are some things I am not happy with but my experience was far more positive than not. The car had a small dent on the back. He was also able to get two cars paid off that my wife and I had. This was not easy since they were each under our individual names and only one name is going on the new title. The whole reason I went to DARCARS is because they called and said they had a fabulous deal going on. When asked if I would visit the showroom, I told them some off the wall scenario that would need to take place in order for me to get the car. Much to my surprise they got done exactly what I asked. I probably would buy a car from them again, but a couple things would have to be different. 1. Schedule any follow ups before signing papers. 2. Any verbal agreements are put in writing. BTW I reccomend dealing with Sean. He was upfront and honest the entire time. More
