I had a problem with my car and my mechanic could not fix. He said I would have to take it to a car dealership I just cringed because I knew it would cost more than I could afford. I took it to Darcars Chrysler in Rockville the people were so nice to me there even though I didn't buy my car there. They had my car for three days determined to help me. They fix the problem and I was very surprised that wasn't charges as much as I had thought. Once I can afforded a new car I would definitely go there first I appreciate all that they did for me and my piece of mind. More
Working with Ramin, Gary, and Morris was truly a pleasure. I was trading a 2012 Wrangler and purchasing a 2014 Wrangler. All three of them were friendly, funny, and professional. The minute I walked into the dealer I was greeted with a 'hello how may I help you today?" I had a great experience from start to finish. The Sales Consultant, Neil, was very friendly and helpful. I did not feel pressured and felt as though we had a good rapport. Almost did a deal with Koons but they were more expensive and low balled our trade in. Gary and all the staff at Darcars made me feel like family! Friday morning we decided to drive up to Rockville from our home in Alexandria to look at a 2012 BMW X3 down the street. We have had our eye on the 2014 Grand Cherokee for awhile, too, so once we had driv our home in Alexandria to look at a 2012 BMW X3 down the street. We have had our eye on the 2014 Grand Cherokee for awhile, too, so once we had driven the BMW we decided to stop at DARCARS to test drive a Jeep. Needless to say, the Jeep won. David met us at the door as we drove in, and was very knowledgeable about the Grand Cherokee. We pointed him towards what we were looking for and he provided a few options. We had a commitment that evening so we couldn't finish up then, but we were impressed enough with David and Farzad that we decided to drive back up to Rockville to work on a deal. Luckily, the exact model in the color we wanted had just arrived on the lot; plastic was still on the seats. David set it aside for us and we came back the next morning. Initially we were unable to reach an agreement on price and we left the dealership with no hard feelings because everybody had been very professional and courteous. As we were driving towards the freeway discussing our next options, Farzad phoned and informed us that he was able to coordinate with the used car manager to get a more reasonable amount for our trade. We made the deal, and David did an outstanding job afterwards of taking us through the Jeep, explaining the UConnect system in detail. Overall, it was definitely worth the drive, we got a fair price, and have a great new Grand Cherokee in the driveway. Thanks again David and Farzad for an enjoyable car buying experience. Updating as of 9 Oct 13: Customer service and responsiveness after the sale has been horrendous. We are now six weeks post purchasing the Jeep and we have had to drive up to Rockville twice to provide more documents on two occasions, and have had to make countless emails and phone calls to the dealership to finish the transaction. We are military and registering the vehicle out of state, which has clearly been a huge challenge to DARCARS. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing about two required documents, I had to call the dealership to find out what the hold up was, as the loan at my bank hadn't been processed. Another two weeks passed after that, it wasn't until I spoke to the General Manager (Paul) that the loan was finally processed. I am shocked a company would drag their feet so much to get paid. Unfortunately, never heard back from Paul, although I could tell he was able to get things moving because the bank contacted me after the dealership attempted to request a loan amount that didn't reflect an almost $900 payment we had made the day of the sale. Had to follow up again today to track down the registration, as we are approaching the expiration on our temporary tags. Bottom line, what was a good transaction and experience has very much soured, and this will very likely be our first and last time as DARCARS customers. More
After negotiating with several dealerships I ended up at Darcars of Rockville. They were very straight forward and fair in there pricing. When I picked up the car I realized I wanted to get a different color interior. Instead of tan I wanted brown. Even though I had already paid for the car, the dealer said they would do what the could to find me the car I wanted. What I didn't realize at the time was how rare the brown interior was. It would have been easy to exchange it for black interior since they had several in stock but that was not what I wanted. Several employees at the dealership spent the entire day trying to find me the car. At 5pm they finally found a dealership that reluctantly gave it to them. 7pm the car arrived and Darcars spent over an hour making sure the car was clean and perfect. This was a second cleaning since they had already cleaned the first car I had bought. I would like to add this was all done on a Saturday the busiest day of the week. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make me happy!!! Thank you Darcars. More
