Incompetence? Or simply negligence? I regret to say that it stretches my imagination to imagine how my experience at DARCARS Rockville could have been worse. From start to finish, there I regret to say that it stretches my imagination to imagine how my experience at DARCARS Rockville could have been worse. From start to finish, there was an extraordinary level of incompetence and disregard, and nearly a week after I detailed my experience in email to their Customer Relations Director, I have yet to receive any response from them at all. That in and of itself shows the level of regard that DARCARS has for its customers. The problem with this dealer started one week ago, on Monday, October 24th. That day, immediately after my arrival at DARCARS, when I explained the problem of the Jeep Death Wobble that I'd been having with my Wrangler, I was told it was under recall. Then, five minutes later, a different employee came over to me that no, it actually was not - but other years of Jeep Wranglers were. Second, I brought my Jeep in at 8:45, I had heard nothing about the status of my vehicle ( I had left both my cell number and my home number, depending on when they might call ) as of 2:45. Concerned and disappointed, I called to ask for an update. The woman who took my call, after I gave my number, said that she did not have any information for me, and that I should just patiently wait for their call. When I got home from work at 4:15 that afternoon, however, I found that one of their employees had called - twice, in fact - but only at the home number, rather than call my cellphone the way I had asked them to. Therefore, they apparently did care enough to call, but neither care enough to pay attention to how to reach me nor to communicate with other employees about the status of their customers' vehicles. Therefore, when I called back and expressed my concern that I had not heard anything from them on my cell, and that they had called only my home number, their employee started to argue with me to say that he did call my cell - instead of apologizing for his serious mistake. Because he was so busy arguing with me, he'd apparently forgotten that most cell phones have a feature known as "Missed Calls" that show when calls are received. So not only did he not bother to call both numbers, especially the one that I had asked to be called on first, he tried to *argue* with me about it, when he was clearly wrong in the first place. Finally, he told me, that because it was so late ( because he had not called me at the right number in the first place! ), they would not be able to service my car that day. Because of their negligence or incompetence I lost more than an hour from work in the morning and had my entire evening messed up, because of the wretched service I received from this dealer. To fix their mess, I take more time out of my week to bring my car to a well-reviewed garage nearby, one that has repeatedly shown that they are able and willing to treat their customers with basic consideration - and competence. Went back to the dealership about two weeks later to look at a couple of trucks that interested me. Located Ceidrick, told him what I was looking for, took a couple vehicles for a ride and agreed on one of them. Ceidrick made this purchase very easy, there was some negotiation and a couple small glitches, but Ceidrick went to work for us each time, and we came way with what we wanted. Ceidrick is to be commended on his care for his customers, making them feel that way. Many stars for this salesman. He is a good reflection on the Dar Cars Dealership Rockville. Will reccommend him and the dealership to anyone looking for a MOPAR product More
Overall bad experience We were looking for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. The sales rep was ok at first, took us to their holding lot to see a 2015 model. Once in that car he made sure to tell us that the steering wheel shook at highway speeds because it was in sport mode (it was not in sport mode, nor does that make any sense). My wife liked the Jeep, but we did not one that shook from the start. So we asked to negotiate on the 2016 models. They would not even honor the discounts offered by Jeep, from their website. The Sales rep told us that the website lies. The best they would do would be msrp minus the one rebate they honored. Time to leave, but they had the keys for our potential trade. It took me asking 4 times before they finally released my keys back to me. I went to Criswell and had a great experience. Bought a Jeep the next day. It is worth the 10 minute drive to go to Criswell over this crappy dealership. More

Neil was super as my salesman, Santiago got me in and out of the finance office in less than 30 minutes, and Michael Fastman is an outstanding general manager. Neil and the rest of the staff couldn't do enough to insure I was happy with the deal and the delivery. More

While researching whether we were ge CAVEAT EMPTOR---We have a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited lined up at CarMax with 12000 miles on it for $27,000. While researching whether we were getting a good deal, we found some new 2016 Jeep Cherokees with 450 miles on it at a local dealer, DARCARS of Rockville. I submitted the web request and got an email back that they had a new Cherokee Limited with the same Luxury package for just under $30,000. I asked Henry the salesman to email me the specs on the car with his best price and if I liked what I saw I would see him that evening. No email came from Henry so we resigned ourselves to buy the used car. Henry called that night and asked if I was coming. I said no because I didn't receive the requested email from him. He told me that he could get the car to me for $28,000. After some discussion he finally admitted that there was a $995 destination charge on top of the price. When I said I was going to CarMax, he asked if he could speak with his sales manager. When he came back on the line, he said he would match the $27,000 price, with the $995 destination charge still added on. It sounded like a deal, so we arranged for my wife to come by to look at it around noon the next day. I asked him to send me that quote in an email. The quote never came, but my wife went to look at the vehicle anyway. She liked it, even though it did not have the Safety package that the used car did. We agreed to go ahead and buy it. After waiting 2 hours for the finance person to work with her, he was finally brought in to look at the deal. She told me that the offer was for $28,000 plus the destination charge, plus processing, tax, tags, and title. When she said that the price quoted was $27,000, they told her that I must have misunderstood them. She called me and I told her to walk out if they wouldn't honor the price promised the night before. She did walk out but at the same time I called to speak with Henry. When he finally got on the phone (evidently after following my wife out to the parking lot), he told me that I had misunderstood the price offered. I told him I was going to CarMax. A few minutes later the sales manager called me back and insisted that my wife had been offered the $27,000 price but she refused it. It seemed pretty clear to me that they were trying to take advantage of the fact that she was a woman. Unfortunately for them, she has a law degree and runs an office with 20 employees and manages multi-million dollar ad campaigns. She knew exactly what the offer was. They were hoping she wouldn't pay attention to details, but they couldn't slip one by her. Sorry DARCARS, we are buying from someplace that has some honesty and integrity. Remember, CAVEAT EMPTOR -- let the buyer beware! More
